The only problem with assassination mode is that everyone starts choosing oak.
So the devs should be thanking your action of pirating it for the resulting sale? Am I the only one to whom this sounds crazy? Please god I can't be the only one........sigh /face - palm
Well, it does sound a bit crazy. But it's true. Without the option to rent PC games, and without a demo coming for a while(basicly, if it comes after SF4's PC release, it's a long ti
Yup, I bet you would have quit gaming all together if it weren't for torrents
Well, no, it's just that I was really on the fence about this game, and had I waited for the demo, it would be too late-- I would already have spent my money on other summer releases that I was already following. I wouldn't have bought this game at all, it would have just been forgotten, really. Of course, I'm not d
why add that you pirated it in the topic? im tired of seeing these topics for demigod on various forums saying "oh i pirated it and now i want to buy it" you think that makes it ok?
Well, to be fair, I wouldn't have bought this game if I didn't pirate it when I did...

Plenty of people are complaining about 'x demigod is unbalanced,' and many times for the wrong reason (they simply don't know how to beat them), or to an exaggerated point. Because of that, it would be nice to compile a list of good counters so that the balance of each demigod is easier to review, and so that less people complain about how oeverpowered a demigod is just because they can't beat them(although it's likely that the people complaining for that reason either don't care to learn how
If you want to kill Erebus, just take rook and plant a bunch of towers. Very hard to survive against that, especially since Erebus needs to get close to do anything. Or, stun, silence, or drain him. Many times has silence/drain caused me to either run away like a little girl, or just plain eat it. Erebus isn't as overpowered as people think. You just got to work around his strengths. You can't attack him head on, because he'll outmaneauver you. Yo
It would definetly give you something to do during those agonizing 30 seconds that you have to wait to respawn.
Well, I'm sure we don't all have all the time in the wrold to sit down and play some really long Conquest games. I suggest some timed matches, which would range anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour, depending on settings, so that games can be kept to concise time periods. Essentially, some modes like: 1. Team with the most kills at the end of the game wins. In the result of a tie, the team with the highest Warscore wins. 2. The team with the mos
I'd say just lower the death penalty for characters of lower levels/warscore.
From my experience fighting against him, most people just don't know how to run with him. TB should be running whenever someone starts attacking him. He just doesn't have the resiliance to survive in combat. I've made tonnes of kills against TBs that just don't know when to run.
I play like an assassin until around level 8 or 10, and then buy the level 4 idols. Until then, they really don't carry their weight, and you're better off just concentrating on making your general capable of surviving long enough to level to a point where they can be most effective.
I skip idols and play like an assassin until I'm around level 8-10, then just stock up on the lvl4 versions. Anything less is kind of a waste, IMO.
Because they have an easier time connecting to one another, sadly.
Well, I'm not going to mince words. Multiplayer in this game sucks ass. I spent all day trying to get a game, and managed to only get one good game. So, I read a lot of posts mentioning gameranger. Sounds cool. I download it, load it up, yadda yadda yadda... only to find that a vast majority of the people on it happen to have outdated, probably pirated versions of the game. I just want to have the same quality experience that the pirates are having, can't I at least have that?
I suggest OP just grow up.
If evening out the slippery slope is such a problem, then make it end faster. At least give a losing team the chance to forfeit.
Well, I'll skip introductions, because I'm sure we all know what the slippery slope concept is, and how it can damage a game. Demigod suffers from this quite a bit. Get 2 levels higher then your opponent, and things can get much worse much faster. However, that leads to some issues with Demigod. Because of the long nature of the games, they tend to get pretty sad once this hits. It's either a slaughterfest or simply boring as hell once the players start moving along the
