I think a first blood achievement wouldnt be healthy for Demigod. Instead of finding your place in your team people would start to hunt down 'weaker demigods', kill stealing and it might open a can of worms... We need more achievements to encourage teamplay. Some examples: - first citadel upgrade - tower killer - healer (highest number shield/healing used on other team members) - flag loc
None. They have no affect on gameplay. I think they say First blood is important because it gives you a gold advantage (and disadvantages the one who died). Really though it's pretty insignifacnt and shouldn't sway the game much.
If you're team is decent, then it shouldn't sway it TOO much. Especially since early game kills aren't exactly MONEYBANKS kind of jobs. However, if you've got feeders, it's a sig
+1 It's a shame that you words will fall on deaf ears, for the most part. One only needs to look at the .96 versions of the game on Gameranger to see how many pirate copies are being played. And folks wonder why games often do not reach there full potential...these same folks need to actually buy more games and the devs will be more than happy to develop it further with patches and expansions. First blood, as in, first kill, tends to show the beginning of a trend of one sided dominance. As in, you start killing early, you start winning early. And it's true, as a kill for you means more gold and exp, and 30 seconds of dead time for your opponent, which can be huge, especially early game.

Speed upgrades or bust. You gotta have some weaknesses, right? Perhaps get a buddy who plays Erebus to gank his ass while he concentrates on shooting at you. Also, Unclean Beast has the strongest ranged attack in the game. Use it.
After playing many games against erebus as TB I can now say.. that Erebus is just SLIGHTLY overpowered.. just slightly.. but not by much. Even if they left him like this I would be fine because he can still be taken down.. just slow him down and freeze him and don't allow him to use his skills.. if you can't do that.. run, TB is faster than LE.
Erebus is faster by .3.

First time I played paintball, and hopefully the last, I got half a clip unloaded on my throat... How it happened, I don't know. Nothing like that ever happened to me in Demigod though...
The one with the better player controlling it.
Damn straight. I've seen Oaks that died 12 times in one match(and whenever one of these types of Oaks is in a game with me, he's almost always on my side. Well, the game says he's on my side, but with how he's been lining the other team's pockets, I'd be forced to disagree), and Reggies who died none. Wait, nevermind, Reggie always dies at least once when I'm arou

My vote goes to Q0T or Oak. Erebus has decent survivability through bite, but really, most of his ability to live through anything comes from him easily being able to run away. If an Erebus is really losing combat, and not just looking like he is(Erebus doesn't turn the tables, you just play into his hands), then there's not much he can do but run.

Basicly, the pathways that you move along. They're present in every level except Prison, although some levels have more then others, and some levels are nothing but lanes. Movement is a huge part of Demigod, so controlling lanes is a huge deal, especially when flags and defenses are along them.

Erebus is also vulnerable to ganking right after he uses bats. Get one of your allies with low health to draw him near, have him use bats, and then run in while it's still recovering. If you have enough move speed upgrades to keep up with him, you can easily gang up on him. The big weakness with bats is that it's a move that pretty much forces you to commit to whatever you do, unless it's running away. People need to take advantage of that if they want to beat the more.

I use idol minions with any general I use, and I still encounter many of the problems listed there. For example, my Erebus build uses idols, and is completely decimated by rook regardless. In the case of Regulus, although Erebus can win with bite, he's forced to commit to either killing him or running away very early, as Regulus gets free shots to kill if Erebus runs too late. In single combat, it's definetly possible for Erebus to win, it's that, should something go wrong, Regulus ca
they still need to make it a bit balanced for teams that get the short end in the beginning. But there isn't a balance there. If someone gets more kills, accrues more gold, more EXP, and overal superor game play, it should be imbalanced. In an extreme form, that's like asking for level 1s to be able to fight level 20s. In a less extreme argument, you can't just fuck up in the beginning and expect the game to be modified

Not really. Bite's his only consistant damage and healing tool, and once you disable that move, be it through mana denial, stun, or silence, you've crippled him. Plenty of characters can outdamage and outheal him. The only thing that sets him apart is he does it at the same time. Characters like Oak and QoT can tear Erebus apart, or give their allies the ability to do so, very easily. Sedna can tank him Oak can deny him his bite QoT can deny him his bite

First, it's negative favor. I can live with that, I have the upgrade items I want. Then reduced to 0 favor... fine... wait a minute... my favor items too? All my achievements? What? And considering how integral favor items can be, especially early game, where games can be made or broken, I'd say that's a fairly big deal. Also, if I see 'Lord Erebus the Initiate' one more time...

Just a short while ago, 2v2. I started really badly, and the enemy got to level 4 while I was still level 1, and my ally, without my help, ended up only being level 2. However, we ended up slowly gaining ground, although it cost us most of our towers. In the end, we just held our ground, and kept taking the right flags, and slowly managed to overpower them, ending up higher levels. By the end, we captured all of their portals and sicked giants in their base. Although ea

I disagree about the balance... but I wholly agree about favour. Just lost all my favour and upgrades. And all my achievements. Didn't gain any of them in my last game either.
