This show has a lot of potential. Stargate has always been hit or miss for me. I like the movie, some of SG1, and none of Atlantis. After watching SGU, my first thought was "FINALLY, Stargate is getting back to a more mature element." I'm fairly hooked on the series now, but yeah, I'm bored of the dramatic BSG camera usage. I'd also like to see the show kill of some important characters instead of Pvt. Whatshisface who overreacted at the razor cloud bugs.
Which would make me understandably pissed off. Why would I continue being a loyal customer if I was being punished for it?
You wouldn't. As a poster stated above, p2p is cheaper because of bandwidth reasons. Instead of the company relying on a server with limited bandwidth, the burden is given to people cost free. All you'd have to do is pay for the key. I like the p2p model. I live in a rural area, and my internet is quite whacky.
ya.. Starsiege Tribes (the original).
MAN, that game rocked. That was the first team based FPS I played. I remember coming home from school, getting a hold of some friends, and rocking a server. 10 years is a long time for a game, though. For me, the most disappointing thing about Tribes wasn't that the game didn't last more than 10 years... it was that the sequels sucked. Tribes 2 was alright , but

Keep up the good work, Stardock.
And i am skeptical about Frogboy too^^
This sounds like an immediate request for suggestive pictures. "I need... proof." All joking aside, Stardock has to be the most responsive company ever. This company actually (sort of) listens to the whining. I remember how bad this game was right after release, and now it's one of my favorites. I pity the people who got the refund... They're missing out on some great gam

I think I'm with the OP on this subject. Games are starting to feel a little squishy in the single player level of difficulty. I remember sitting with a friend and playing Gun.Smoke. Getting to level 4 was a big accomplishment (the game had 10 rounds). While I can't say I miss the linear grind-fest-endurance-test that many old games were, I do miss the challenge. I'm all for immersion and depth, but please bump up the level of difficulty in the hard modes. As f

GFWL has to be the worst program I've ever used. I think MS's busisness model should just be aborting the whole program. I use to play DoW2 all the time, but I became so aggravated with GFWL I ditched the game... which sucks because DoW2 was fun. Half the time it would not patch correctly, the other slight half GFWL would conflict with the game resulting in waiting for a new patch, and the remainder of the pie chart is dedicated to a small sliver of me actually playing the g

Pantheon is a good start, as many have said. I played Pantheon for about 30 games, then I started custom matches. Now I usually host games. I will admit I do look at stats, but I'm not looking at the win-loss ratio. What I do look at is total disconnects vs. total games played. I started out not checking at all, but I got so frustrated with players who disconnect almost every game. Anyway, add me to friends or look for my games. You won't get kicked.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I work on a farm, and the DSL I have is rather... well, it's lacking. The other night I was kicked from an east coast game for the reasons you mentioned. I find that if I host games, I tend to avoid getting kicked.. and I do the kicking. YEAH!

That happened to me in the one game I played tonight. A UB grasped me right as I hit the CoN. When I was unstunned, the timer was going on the cloak. I got out with some fancy foot work and good shield timing, but it was quite close. Is it really a bug or just great timing?
thats right the same record companies that told motley crue and the like to act like your worship the devil and killed your own mother tell main steam rappers how to act...
Well, it is coercive. Artistic liscence is very limited in the modern music industry. That isn't a totally bad thing in my opinion, as this industry strong arming inadvertently gave birth to genres like hiphop, punk, "indie," etc. Not too f

Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothin' to fuck with. I use to be one of those people that would say "Rap is crap, dur dur dur," but then I realized I wasn't listening well enough to pass judgement, and I was just being a music brat. Groups and/or individuals like the Fugees, Talib Kweli, Wu-Tang, Dr. Dre, Mos Def, Public Enemy, and The Roots (more so Black Thought) really sparked my interest. I listen to a lot more than that, but those are mostly my favorites. Mainstream rap i

During the Pantheon I played with a Sedna player who didn't heal anyone but himself. He just went around trying to destroy fortresses all through the game. A while back I played with a QoT who didn't know Bramble Shield could work on allies when I asked why he wasn't helping us out in combat. I don't mind playing with new players at all, but I get irked when people don't play as a team, as the case with the Sedna player. One of my favorites was on Cata when the gam

I've been playing this build for the past few days, and I have to say it is quite nice. I'm not that good of a player, though, and I seem to have trouble timing the shield. When I have a teammate who is worse than me, I seem to fail even harder. I use to wait until a higher level for shield, but I'm finding it so effective against those potential early kills that I can't see myself taking anything else at the start. Thanks, Kestrel.

Good stuff, I'd say. I've been buying priests early on, and they usually deal some good damage against towers. I'd have to say the new angels are pretty nice, too. A few times I've watched them chase down a badly wounded DG, and kill it. I'd rather have the DG taken out of the game with me getting an assist than no kill at all.

Good post. I agree with nearly everything written except for the mana. I like my mana to be invisble. There are times when I retreat briefly from a fight and come back, causing the opponent to flee. If my the opponent realizes I'm bluffing, I will do it again but with full mana. Bluffing is fun.
I see kids that post that don’t know what they are talking about, and others you can tell they know a thing or 2. But this is the true story. Demigod NEEDS more heroes. That’s it end of story flat out. ( 1 reason, I want to play multi player without seeing the same demigods game after game. It makes it 2 easy and reppitive I want to use my brain to know how I must counter each unique team of unique hero choices. )
So you've figured this whole game out alre

You just have to be aware of what items are being used by your opponents. If you know they have HoL, don't give them a chance to use it. Any sort of range or additional damage attack can be the bane of HoL. The problem for most people seems to be the lack of situational awareness...

I sort of agree. How about the gold for the assist is upped with the damage? There are times when I will run the whole way across the map, dropping what I'm doing, to chase a kill someone else cannot get. So not only do I help myself with the gold, but I help you with the assist, and I help the team by knocking another player out for 20-30 seconds.

I agree, OP. I played a game yesterday with a great Sedna player who kept my UB nice and shiny. The player didn't have too many kills by the end of the game for obvious reasons, but I wish healers would get some type of recognition other than my thanks. We had an Oak, too. After pushing a little too far into enemy territory, he was usually right there to back me up with Shield. Maybe some points are in order for the players who help in the defense of others? [q

I like to use him in two ways: 1) Pick off running demigods (of course) 2) Assist other demigods in getting kills. This is my favorite tactic. I sit back waiting for an ally demigod to deal out some damage, then I snipe the enemy demigod when I know I can get it low enough for my ally to wreck him in one or two hits. I usually cast mark once or twice to aid in the damage. I tend to use movement and mana items with him. There's

I'm liking both right now. I bought SoSE, and had no problems. When I was in the beta for steam, I was lucky enough to avoid client side problems. Now, it runs great for me. The only complaint is the updating system. It seems stall/not work properly at at times. I wouldn't say that is a strike against steam. When I first tried to update Demigod, I had to retry the update twice before it would start. Nothing is perfect. Steam is starting
