@JagerJack Really? How hard is it to unlock the favor items?
For most people, it isn't. I warned you to change the title........
If you really care about being matched up with the wrong person then you should just make your own list of people you don't want to play with.

It bothers me that most posts are only backed up by a bunch of theory. A call to sanity is always a nice idea. However I see plenty of retarded "I can't kill Bilbo Baggins therefore Bilbo Baggins isn't balanced posts. Real experience is greatly dependant on skill and quantity of experience, and also you will get a
Well, there's two potential problems with this: First off, if one player can do something that affects the whole game, that means it can affect his teammates too, and the developers seem to have gone through quite some lengths that you can't do anything harmful to teammates... the only exceptions I can think of are Erebus's hp potions (which isn't under your control), and Rook being able to drain hp from friendly buildings, which is

I am, however, having trouble completely understanding your above reply. If you're trying to insult me by saying my post didn't have detail then I'm afraid it was a weak attempt, as I described why I didn't understand his reply just fine, seeing as how you were able to acurately explain why
You make a good point, but I don't think you want the first thing people read to be: "To all the ignorant Americans." You might want to change the title of the post to avoid being flamed. Just a suggestion.
I think this is too large of an overhaul for normal gameplay, but it would be a very interesting game type that I would love to play. [e digicons]k1[/e] karma for creativity. EDIT: I do, however, agree that the gold system could use a few changes.
I hope that opinion will change in the future As do I. Considering how big a difference they make, I think an opponent should have the opportunity to decide if they want to get murdered by Ashkandor or not.
You guys have a point I guess. Although once your enemy suddenly becomes capable of killing you in 5 seconds without taking any damage you should be able to guess that they have some sort of artifact with
Clan support and the like is scheduled to be added soon, possibly over the summer. That should allow you to play with experienced players, although you could try custom games as well. As for cheats, Demigod is a game focused on multiplayer, so cheats don't really have a place here. If you're talking about cheats in single player, I don't think they are necessary to dominate the AI.
No, there isn't a way to see your enemy's items as far as I know. Being able to do so would detract from the element of suprise you have when buying a new item. An enemy will probably run if he can see that you have mageslayer or ashkandor.
I'm a bit confused. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you suggesting something along the lines of maps that can change in-game or have features that can affect gameplay to make it more exciting, such as a map with lava where stepping on it can hurt you? If so, then I completely agree.
I'm going to assume that you lost the receipt and the box based on your post. If that is true, then I'm sorry to say that you have no right to complain or blame Stardock, as this policy applies WHENEVER you buy something. Without the receipt how do they know that you actually paid for the game or bought it there? You could have stolen it or bought it from a different store. If what I assumed is correct then you can only blame yourself. If it isn't then I stand corrected, although you
NEVER!!!!!! WATCH AS THE ROOK DANCES IN SQUARE! MUHAHAHAHA!
That ability would be too overpowered and would most likely have to be nerfed into the Rook doing a square dance.
Why did adventure games die anyways? It was a fun genre.
They lost out to shooters and hack n' slash games. Nowadays many gamers like to keep the point of the game simple: kill all the enemies. With adventure games you have to explore to get the full experience. Adventure games aren't really dead though. They just have more action than they used to. Uncharted would be a good example.

You shouldn't expect it as the norm, but unfortunately bots aren't uncommon, especially in games over 2v2. You might want to try playing custom games, where the chances of playing a full game against actual people are greatly increased.

Are these Demigods weak in a specific area, or just weak overall? In any case these DG are definitely not weak. Some of their skills could actually be considered OP. Mind saying why you think they are weak? In my opinion, the weakest DG are the Rook and Queen of Thorns. Perhaps Torch Bearer as well.
Spit's range means that he will be hit at least once by the tower, unless there are minions in front of him. Since he is so squishy even one tower hit can cause quite a bit of damage.
