You have allies. Work with them. I was playing a 2vs2 Dominate game in Pantheon as Regulus on the Prison map. Originally we were winning but then we got owned after about level 5 or so. I went with Angelic Fury and Snipe. Whenever I hit QoT, all I saw was "Absorbed" every time, and no damage to her it seems. At times I did miniscule, useless amounts of damage, but obviously that didn't help me Dominate. With Erebus, he would teleport in, own my face, then teleport out again. And I coul
It good that Favor points are at least acknowledged in the diagram in the OP. However, it's very not good how Favor points are almost never mentioned in the text of journal updates, or if they are mentioned, they are mentioned only in as briefly passing as possible. Please forget about the other issues until the the #1 game-breaking issue of Demigod is fixed: bugged Favor points.
It isn't a low priority if you watch the day 7 movie they did in the journal section they talk about it a bit.
"A bit" is more accurate than your statement implies, in a bad way. They talk about it for like under 5 seconds in one throwaway line, whereas they spend 99% of the video talking about connection problems.[e digicons]>:([/e] Favor bugs fundamentally breaking the game is the most
at some point there's going to be a game company that offers an RTS with ongoing service above what you have seen so far in RTS games and will charge a subscription fee of some sort. It's going to be a gold mine.
Don't be so sure. There are a couple of non-MMO games that were promoted as if they were MMO's and included monthly MMO fees that were totally unwarranted for the
Contrary to what it says in the OP, restrictive DRM features would not have helped the launch of the game whatsoever. All the pirates who pirated Demigod as it was released, would have pirated just as easily, just as fast, and in the exact same way, if it had shipped with restrictive DRM. Those 'points' in the OP that claim it wouldn't have happened like that with restrictive DRM are invalid.
I think it would be great if you could make a Sticky topic for an issue that is not addressed in this week's battle plan in the OP, and that is way more important than 'new Demigods'. That Sticky topic should be called something like: "What we are doing to fix the horrendously broken Favor points system, and our ETA for when it will be fixed."
wow dude, you got a profile named fixmyfavor...that's pathetic....that is really pathetic....
I think it's a fair name given the situation. I paid $44.99 CAD for a retail box which says on it that I may "unlock powerful achievements", yet due to bugs breaking the game, I cannot do so. Maybe if a dev sees a post of two of mine or my posting name then they will realize that broken favor is a
Hopefully next week we can start talking about additional Demigods.
IMO there is no need to even bother talking about additional Demigods when a core mechanic of the main game, favor points and items, is still horrendously broken. That needs to be fixed before the game will be playable as is. Adding new Demigods wouldn't make it playable if favor remains broken. It seems from what is written in the sta

Playing with rook and TB wouldn't have done anything to help that. Sadly, it is actually an improvement that now everyone has no favor and can't save any favor items, because at least it puts everyone
Favor items are ruining the game but NOT for any of the reasons listed in the OP. If the OP thinks favor items are too good then he can go earn some himself instead of complaining about other people who did earn them. However, favor items are ruining the game because for many people, earning them is impossible due to bugs keeping favor permanentely stuck, and keeping favor points with a negative balance . Therefore, t
Would have been nice to have seen the warning in the OP put in-game by the devs about a week ago...so that those of us who are already victimized by these bugs could have opted to avoid them before it's too late. The OP says "you have been warned", but that only applies to people who didn't get fubared by these bugs already. [e digicons]8C[/e]
there are favor corrections on the forums readily available if you look.
No there isn't, other than for singleplayer. I have tried all the alleged 'fixes' for this posted by other end-users and none of them have any effect whatsoever on my multiplayer favor being permanently stuck at negative 1350. This needs a dev-made patch to fix it.
I am beginning to get very angry. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
I have experienced this too and in fact my favor points have been permanently stuck at negative 1350 for the past few days. I also am very angry about this.
This issue is being worked on for a new build update to the game. Please be patient.
It would be much easier to be patient if you or Frogboy or any dev told us an ETA on when it will be fixed and how much priority it is getting. Is the update to fix negative favor points and stuck favor points expected to come in a week? 1 month? 2 months etc.
I also have this issue and am stuck at -1350 for the past few days, it never changes. I am so frustrated that I changed my name to fixmyfavor in hopes that the devs will fix this before anything else, because it is THE most game-breaking issue of Demigod.
I have a couple of questions: 1. Are multiplayer achievements (not talking about favor points) stored on the server side instead of the end-user's computer, separately from the singleplayer achievements; or are they just lumped together with the singleplayer achievements that are stored on the end-user's computer? 2. If they are not stored separately, won't this be abused because it can be hacked on the end-user's computer so that any end-user who wants m
I am very happy to see the status reports on a daily basis. One thing I find frustrating about them though, is that is seems the negative favor points bug, and favor points being stuck bug, either doesn't get mentioned, or gets mentioned casually only in passing. These are major game-breaking issues that give the players who didn't run into these bugs huge in-game advantages because the game is working as intended for them, yet not for thei
