It's still way to early. Wait until you see the online connectivity complaints die down online and then jump in. The game has some great potential, but right now you'll just be ticked off and may never come back to playing it.

BTW: When is this supposed to be fixed any way? I read frogboys post about how it is fixed and they can move on to other things like balance (unless I misunderstood what he was saying). For many it's not fixed, so I hope they haven't moved on to fixing other things.

The tricky thing about rights is that they come with responsibilities. As a corollary to your amendment to the GBOR, how about we add "complaint
Team Pantheon will be a nice addition. However, I love the current Pantheon and Skirmish mode. I haven't gotten involved in clans/guilds/organized teamplay since I quit MMO's. Having game modes where I know I can't be stacked against, that everyone enjoys the same luck of the draw on map, mode, player skill and numbers; it's a good thing for me. Custom games should fill the void until they get Team Pantheon in. [/
Contact sales and get your money back. Sheesh, if you read your manual, which you apparently didn't you would know that Stardock provides full refunds on its games if user has a problem getting it working -- even on copies bought at retail. As for my personal involvement on the forums. I find it sad that someone would argue that a CEO participating on the forums means the company must not have any resources. I

I may try sins of a solar empire with my refund. BUt not sure I want that in depth of a strategy game at this point. DG really appeals to me for it's simple to pick up gameplay, but is complex enough to keep improving on your strategy. So they may end up selling me 2 games before it's all over with.
Quoting schismpunk, reply 4 That's my issue though, is this an issue that Stardock would be willing to address? It's kind of a touchy issue for the publisher to ban certain players based on what's sort of a subjective offense. Maybe if they built in a personal banlist to tie into the netcode of connecting players. So I have person x on my list, and if that player is an option for a skirmish, it would d

to: Chaosnaska Thanks for the reasoned answer. And you do make a good point. I still think it would transfer well (wiht a few modifications). I guess it really comes down to what you like best in this game. I hope there is a dev that looks at this game and says we can do something similar on consoles and give
Uh... its not that big of a deal man. The game works at least 80% of the time. In fact it works nearly 99% of the time if you're playing small games like 2v2 and 3v3. I don't think they owe us anything other than fixing the bugs in the netcode. I'm guessing you never played an MMO at launch. Demigod has a few bugs, but its certainly not unplayable. Look at games like Age of Conan. That game was absolute garbage at launch. Yo

Moreover it gives lots of FREE updates for its products over thier lifecycle and then some. In my opinion asking such a question here is a big huge slap in the face to the developers and their commitment to us the customers.
Really? Did you read their GBOR? Here's what I found on GBOR: http://www.gamepolitics.com/2008/08/29/stardock-releases-gamer039s-bill-rights-pax Looks pretty good to me. As an industry, we need to begin setting some basic, common sense standards that reward PC gamers for purchasing our games. The console market effectively already has something like this in that its games have to go through the platform ma

But what should they do to win over the people the pissed off with their crappy online code? A game that is pretty much online only that can't be played online is a joke. schlista, ...and once they refund your money, you can come back to these forums with your tail between your legs
