>>Overall price decreases are good, since it makes "winner keep winning" a little weaker since everyone can afford stuff. Most of the decreases are on the crap items, that might still not be as good as taking the standards like Nimoth, Unbreaklable and Vlemish. >>Crusader and Groffling procs off of Arrow towers, minions and also creeps. You know Rook's Arrow upgrade? They shoot 12 times a second. With your 2250 you have a 5% chance to heal 30
LORD-ORION
I couldnt contain myself to one thing... so I made a huge experimental mod perhaps some of these might be of merit for change consideration http://forums.demigodthegame.com/391028

NT- New ToDo list to be filled in later
CrazyTown is now a complete package and ver 0.8 is available <a href="htt
That doesn't work anywhere else though. Guess I should have explained that better (in the skills function, add the crit buff if the special ability is picked as a skill). I tried that... but it does not crit. Unless maybe I did it wrong. But I have improved enough to say I am at least 75% confident I can copy an existing ability mechanism now. :)
Has anyone been able to add a crit like deadly warp does? It doesn't seem to work. (in the skills function, add the crit buff if the special ability is picked as a skill) One thing I have noticed in warpstrike 4 there is a category that might be a clue. WarpBuff = 'HDemonDeadlyWarpBuff', I grepped all the files for demigod, and that is the only place you can find WarpBuff... so am I far off in assuming that this is buried in the executable somewhere, and you wo
One things I want to know, can you actually change the tournament AI? It's weird that nobody has done it, so is it possible?
At this point, the mod is designed for team play and works best for 3v3 and larger teams (for clarity, I've inserted this in the description above). Since I never play 1v1, I haven't observed the AI's capping behavior under this condition. However, I am not surprised that a single AI player would lose the flag-capping race against a human player. The AI prioritizes portals, then whatever flags are nearest and random flags.
>>Occasionally starting Regulus, Oak, or Unclean Beast in the number 2 slot on either the Light or Dark team will result in the demigod not leaving the health crystal at the beginning of the game. I am not sure why this is, and it does not occur every game. The solution is simple: Don’t place any of these three demigods in the number 2 slot. This happens even with the Skirmish AI disabled, and in the number 1 slot too. Notice alot of times when test
Well, what is the resell cost? Main Cost - Resell Cost = Adjusted actual cost for free 1000 armor. Stay away from Fire TB aura. :D
I like the idea of leaving the +mana bonus alone and giving it +mana regen instead. Generals need a good +mana regen item. They're always taking Blood because there aren't any other good choices (except for cloak in a few cases). Not sure if it's possible, but it might be nice to add maybe a 5% or 10% skill resistance to it. Mages don't need armor, after all, they need magic resistance.
There are + mana favor items.
Iron Walker Speed trigger is actually 5.5 I put them on rook, and the effect triggers immediately. At one point, I sold them for another item... but the effect icon did not disappear, and the armor bonus was still there. (haha 1750 armor bonus on Rook using only Nimoth fun fun fun) Is there any obvious reason why this might happen?
Hmm, you are right... I guess I am crazy, was probably health flag cap that made it look like health had gone down, and then came back. But, definitely grayed out when only minions are selected.
No idea. I looked into the code but couldn't find anything obvious. If you have more details that would help.
OK, I will play with it some more. How to do demigod logging? Is there a post somewhere in this forum that mentions it?
Late night coding. To balance it, make it a 5 hp/s aura, now it doesn't suck so bad.
Didn't touch it, I was just testing how it worked stacking all the minion HP items. Then, some enemy AI did something, and it greyed out and I was down 400 max HP in the pool. It un-greyed a few seconds later, and I got the HP back.
This is a bad item, so it doesn't surprise me nobody has ever noticed this.... but... It seems it can be deactivated. The Icon in your favor slot turns Grey, and you lose the hit point bonus. Then it turns back on later. What event would/could cause this?
Also, I think Lord Orion is creating a total demigod rebalance mod with all his posting might also be that there is still a dream that we can submit an idea or 2 to SD to pass onto GPG and see added to the game. Honestly, I'd give it 25% chance of happening at this point, but hope lives on for now...
As I recall, GPG still owes StarDock one patch, but also, what fun is asking these questions without making a mod? :
Some nice funny build to try. Like speedy Rook haha. "Boulder, run and SLAM!!!!!!" ^^
You will know fear if you are Occ or QoT. Without an interrupt, you are going to get thumped.
Where is the DA build you used last night?!?!... with all the glorious items while i bought all the Cit upgrades... :D
Hrmm... answered my own question... it says 5, but you see the effect icon on Rook. It triggers at any speed below 5.5 (rook's default speed is 5.4) So the new question is, why does the description retrieve a value of 5, when the trigger is clearly set to 5.5?
Looking in the data file, trigger amount is set to 5.5, not 5.0 Does this mean default speed Rook will always have the 1000 armor bonus?
There is a question down there, but please read through the thought process. We have 2 items that give a +800 bonus. One is one of the best items in the game, the other the worst. Blood of the Fallen vs Staff of the Warmage. 800 life vs 800 mana It is obvious what they were thinking when this was originally balanced, but clearly, in practice, one of these items is far more valuable then the other. Additional considerations. 1) When con
Only happens to me when I play Russians... so it is probably a hack... or a problem in localization. ;)
