All random is a terrible idea that spread throughout the WC3 community that adds apsolutely no value to the game at all. I can see the stupid game titles now, and random unfounded shouts of "noob" because somone doesn't feel like randoming that day. All this change would do is encourage this type of ridiculous behavior I wish to NOT have repeated from WC3.
There's reliably more ap games than ar. In fact barely anyone plays actual ar, but rd instead (AKA ar for cow

Reliable multiplayer stats tracking you would think would be the most important thing you would want in a mostly multiplayer game. The broken favor system ties right into this too. God only knows how many players have been lost because of this. If I didn't love the game I'd have stopped playing and never came back the first time a win I played hard for counted as a loss the next day. That's just unacceptable.
It'd be cool, but I'd like it to be random WITH the rule that there can be no mirrors on each team, there are some combo's that could turn up (considering there's only 8 heroes, that's a 12.5% chance for each player to get the same DG) that would create a game I wouldn't want to play. An example being 2+ UB's on a single team would be murder early game since not many heroes can survive 2 Spits without sacrificing a huge amount of gold to keep their HP up.
Um, so 2 peopl

I agree that the Swift Anklet is nearly mandatory for most heroes. Everyone takes it, you can obviously tell. The point is because demigods can attack while moving (I don't think they should be able to but that's another topic) as long as they are slightly faster than you they can chase you while attacking forever and can always escape your attack range while fleeing from you. As it is, everyone starts at +15% speed.
As long as people refuse to play on fast
For most people, it isn't. But there are some people who are having problems with the favor system, making them unable to gain favor.
Well fixing the completely broken favor tracking system is assumed to happen before they do anything else.
But it's strange how it happens most with Sedna or when trying to cast on team mates.
I think it's because Sedna has two moves that need targeting so there's more chances for it to happen.

This happened to me many times last night. It seems to happen a LOT with Sedna, both with her heal and pounce. You will click the ability and your hero will stop moving but no matter how many times you try it will never activate. Moving appears to reset something and the ability might actually activate after that, but you just stood there for 3 seconds trying to cast something you desperately needed - the enemy already escaped or you're already dead. This needs to
It's fine in DG, but DotA's mechanics are completely different. The 'rule' exists there for a reason.
There is no rule in Dota. If you want to get technical, it was only for Furion teleport.
If a player on one team had enough favor to buy two favor items but the players on the other team didn't he would gain a huge and unfair advantage.
You can say this about 1 favor item. It only takes a few wins to get what you're looking for anyways.
It seems that the DoTA community generally considered back-dooring to be a violation and was a ban-list viable offense
To noobs, perhaps. The whining is typically because no one is willing to man up and purchase the tools that were necessary to counter it. Playing for themselves and not the team. In Demigod, teleport scrolls are cheap and plentiful. No issue, imo.
To get ON the TDA banlist, you need to be in TDA and violate the TDA rules.
Actually you just have to look at a TDA member funny. Suck in a TDA game? Ban. Disconnect from battle.net because of network issues that weren't your fault? Ban. Host didn't like you backdooring even though it's clearly allowed in the rules? Ban. The "rules" are nebulous as well. I got on the banlist by joining the channel with the Dota account name I'

Either a Demigod drops a 750 health/1000 mana potion/scroll, or a quite beefy 3000 health/3000 mana potion/scroll at higher levels. However, mid-late game the lower grade potion isn't really helpful. Shouldn't people drop 1500 health/2000 mana potion/scrolls at mid range levels?

I'm convinced the re-selling is a bug. When you summon minions from the idol it should despawn others of the same type. Simple fix. It's like if Rook just keeps making towers.
