Heroes on the left side are Assassins. Heroes on the right side are Generals.
Your entitled to your opinion. Your wrong opinion that is.
I don't see how he's wrong. You're playing against someone who is clearly at a disadvantage. The fact that you claim his opinion is wrong is telling in and of itself why you want to play pugs as a premade.
That's single player only. Does nothing to online points.
Not sure how they're so completely unable to fix this. Every patch has an attempt to solve the problem but it never seems to work...
People like what they like, don't flip out.
The 3 minute rule is quite exploitable it seems.
So please tell what are noobs doing joining games clearly marked as good players only??
Whenever there was a problem getting enough people to join a dota game late at night, I would always remake the game with "proz" in the title. Worked every single time.
I have. I still don't see it. Yes you're communicating constantly in both games but I don't believe it's as important to do so in the fps as opposed to during the battle in a strategy game.
Now that is not true either. There are plenty of things relevant to what happens in the "minor leagues." Tactics/items/abilities which the average pug player is powerless (or unable) to stop will get nerfed regardless of whether or not the "top players" can counter it. Let's look at our old friend the Heart of Life, which the "pros" swore up and down the street was "ok." Yet, look what happened to it. While it seems tempting to balance the game for the top 1% i
No, then no one but the host would have favour points listed. Obvious troll is obvious troll.
So what you're saying is he must have crashed or something?
Because you have to stop to read it and to type it, you don't have to look away from the action to hear voice.
No, I meant I don't see how voices as opposed to chat are more important in FPS games as opposed to strategy games.
You can master how to deal with people you don't know, but that doesn't make you a better player
Depends on your definition of "a better player."
Yeah he counts his lucky stars every night that game split didn't break his streak
Pretty much confirming how stats are completely broken.
TF2 doesn't have a Mute Player option last time I checked
It does. It's on the menu.
People who insist on random games are generally always lower calibur
Of course it seems that way to people who cannot play as such. I find allrandom games far more telling of skill than ap games. Anyone can tool together a combo but few can react appropriately under an unfamiliar or disadvantageous match up. Playing with random people also requires quite a different skillset than someone you know.
It looks like ye old host-plug-pull-to-salvage-a-win on that one.
Voice as opposed to chat? I don't see how.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you only play pugs then you are not in a position to offer credible opinions on balance. Sorry.
Because it's not like 2/3 of the game modes and the ladders aren't based on playing with random people or anything.
Voice in an FPS is way less important than in a strategy game. When the couple things you need to say are "uber now" or "SPY BEHIND YOU!" and the minimal penalties for death voice chat is a lot less important, especially due to the hotkey shouts like "Spy!" "Medic" "Go go go" and such.
Part of this "playing as a team" comes from knowing how the people on your team play. Of which you are at an advtange because you have both played with these people before and know that they are goin to have your back. Not usually possible with random people. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it is a significant factor during play.
You're only looking at fire. With fire, has has no debuffs - only damage. Only damage is beaten by HP stacking. He has no escape abilities besides a passive movespeed increase and movespeed increases are NOT the counter to slows as detailed in other topics, so many heroes can manhandle him if they can survive getting to him, which isn't a problem most of the time.
Each post is was slightly different than the last, too!
Actually it's the HP stacking.
For ffs people. Mines are fine. All of your "hmmm... IMO cast time should be increased by 3% and arming time should be increased by 4%" is garbage. Fidget fidget fidget. If it aint broke don't fix it. Mines are not OP.
Who says they got it perfectly the first time? Small fidgeting would not necessarily break the move. Most real balance changes are small fidgets rather than large nerfs. Not neccessarily saying that mines *need* it, but we shouldn't be
