As an UB player, I can tell you that mana is rarely a problem when favors are allowed. (Although I prefer games with no favor items allowed, and that's how I've been playing for days now.) With Blade of Serpent, you can either spit, then activate it and combined with other melee damage, have more mana than before spit (unless you had full mana, of course); not to mention Post Mortem AND plague - it's endless mana pool for UB. Without favor items, I still find myself way too often on t
With less skilled players, I usually kill them fast enough to afford All Father's Ring before the end of the game.
With less skilled players, game should be over long before any of you can actually afford AFR, along with other items.
Quoting Retroromanic, reply 12 Agreed with Rain of Ice comment - most of the AoE DG skills are avoidable, if you recognize the animation and know what to do. I succeed in evading Rain of Ice in 9 out of 10 situations. It's not about skill. Maybe reduce damage by 1/3 and I'd take it. Hm? I was actually saying the opposite.. By the time I see the maelstrom falling, I can never move out of the way even wh

Great collection of witty ideas. What's really important for me at the moment is - do developers actually read this? Do they post on these forums? Anyway - as an UB professional (), I agree for spit immunity for buildings, as well as 1/4 damage for Regulus. Word. As an Erebus master (), I wholeheartedly agree on Bite nerf, while I am not sure of not being able to use skills for couple of seconds after Mist. Just my feeling, I can't support it wit
Once I get HoL, it's all over.
No, it's not. Who are you playing against, clueless bots?
Torchbearer: A) Decent "sudden" damage at range with maxed out fireball, but it's slow to fire and does less damage than Spit when Spit is maxxed. Can't match UB's speed even with the same items due to Inner Beast.
Uh, now seriously, did you ever play against a good TB? <p
Because people hate losing control of their character. It takes out all the skill of play. That's like a stun but way-freaking-worse.
Word. I've read couple of ideas that were contemplating the idea of "taking over control"; I'd say - forget it. Too powerful; way too disturbing.

Well, I've just played a game which is perfect to reflect these thoughts of mine. Cataract - Regulus, Oak and Unclean Beast (me) versus Rook, Erebus and Unclean Beast. Thanks to an excellent Rook player, they managed to lock us early game (before they even hit level 4-5) and destroyed middle towers + archer towers. It looked like a game over. We were pushing really hard and we managed to hold them somehow, but it was impossible to hold a single flag for longer than a m

Hey all, I don't like opening a new topic just for this small idea, but there wasn't a single related topic I could hi-jack to propose this, so pardon me, please. I think we should allow leveling above 20. Now let me explain. I am well aware most games are almost done when some players hit level 20, although not necessarily. But, we have favor item that increases XP; we have XP
They are a steal. I find them really powerful later game. You push in, turn off one of their spawners, and lock it. Now they have 45 seconds down a spawn portal (and possibly spawning a bunch of crap in their base.) Early game, none of the flags are that great.
What he said. They are useful in many ways. Their power is obvious after Catapults (not to mention Giants) when you infiltrate

I am wondering about one thing, as I regulary play with the Beast - can you actually do something about the mines if you can see them (Bejeweled Goggles?)? I guess not, but it would make sense to be able to destroy them with a ranged attack / skill when they become visible.

I was thinking about this a lot whenever I died when I just started playing the game, but recently I've realized we are Demigods and killing one surely isn't easy (or, at least, it shouldn't be, unless played by a clueless one) and should be rewarded properly. All Demigods are strong. They are not built to die easily. By having a lot of reckless players, there are far more kills in game than I'd ever expect. (We were all newbies at one point.) From my point of view, thi
