New to multiplayer, having problems in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

hey people, i have been playing single player for a while and decided to test my skills online, but i can log on, but when i try the chat, no one seems to respond, and when i try to join a game, it just says it's trying to place me in a game, any help you can give would be great!
