Huh. I won a tourney with Rook and never got a speech/movie. After that I gave up on em, cause singe player is so rediculously easy, even on max difficulty.

Agreed, Stardock has shown an unbelievable determination to see this game through.
Bleh, damn, now people are learning how to flow with the game, and we'll all be cursed to having to actually play like we mean it [e digicons];P[/e] . Minion builds can be effective, I've seen it happen. You just have to be careful and watch your opponent.
Never, ever buy a computer from a manufacturer unless there is a truly bogus deal going on . Not only will this, as some have already stated, eliminate crap programs, it will also help you better understand your computer and its wiring (useful for repair, maintenance, tinkering, or upgrading), as well as save money to buy yourself parts and then assemble the computer. Now, if you're unsure what parts to get for games such as Ragnarok, I can help you out there too. Reply with a
Interestingly, the user manual actually states that you gain XP every time a creep comes through the portal on your side. However, it doesn't appear to work in-game. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or was just taken out. Strange.
Yeah, a lot of people are having this problem. No known fix just yet [e digicons]x_x[/e]
For the record, I think we can all agree that you're about due a new PSU before you upgrade to a brand new expensive graphics card.

Interesting idea. Perhaps a passive bonus from stance switching to encourage not sitting in one stance for long periods of time? Also seems like he might lose out in relation to other Demis, due to his not having any stuns, snares, nukes, or escapes, but I guess that was somewhat intentional.
Excellent information, I'll certainly keep it in mind. However, Mard's has several benefits that aren't counted in a spreadsheet, i.e., it's wonderful on Reg because he can kite you to infinity while dealing 40 extra damage a shot (as we know, a good bit of damage earlygame!). +1 for the excel though.
What? Why would there be no FP items in a tourney? I would expect the opposite, that all FP items would be free.
This. Anything that leads to more complex, interesting builds will be encouraged in a tourney game. Also, someone caught me listing all the good favor items. My point was not that all favor items are good in their own special way, but rather that BoF is not overpowered compared to al
Stupid question, but have there been any Firmware updates for the Surfboard that don't involve running it on other operating systems/bizzare network setups? I'm wondering if it could be a firmware problem, but I haven't found any patches, even off Motorolla's site. (I'm currently using XP, and have it connected to a wireless router)
I live on an unbelievably small island, with a local provider and none of my friends play Demigod. So far as I know, noone who uses the forums lives here either. *face/palm*

Amulet of Teleportation = Win. So are Heaven's Wrath, swift anklet (in extremely rare circumstances, mind you), staff of renewal, and Blade of the Serpant. Blood of the fallen is nice, but so are so many other items...
Err, lost. But the point is, whether or not it's the same community, the fact remains it doesn't work . Favor points are extremely easy to get, and the stats system is rather broken at the moment, so there's not much reason to stick around for your 10/4 record or whatnot. Furthermore, the people who tend to rage/leave/etc probably don't have a terribly high (or even positive) win/loss ratio.
Four regs can easily be beat by 4 rooks with HoL and towers. GG. I saw it happen at a friend's house. Earlygame, the HW combo was wrecking the rooks, but once they all had a few points into towers, they simply pushed the regs into oblivion. The HoL and health+ items made them close to invincible.
I doubt it's graphics cards, as I can play single player 5v5's without a hitch. Also, 8800s and 9600s are quite common, and I think we would see a lot more people with problems if it had something to do with our graphics cards.
Mobos set the limits on a number of factors, including much-desired RAM. A good mobo is also far less likely to break down on you than a bad one, and, of course, the good ones are more expensive. However, generally anything that can handle your CPU, supports the amount of RAM you need, and is of a good manufacturer (Gigabyte!!!) will suffice.
Just noticed the title page on this thread. It makes my eyes cry tears of blood.
The easiest way to beat two regs is to take 2 UBs and spit on them. They don't have the health to stick around, and get your lane all to yourself :) However, you could also double-QoT them, and shield indefinitely, get two sednas and healtank, get two rooks and just towerpush till you can't be stopped... I think you get the general idea.

Believe me, there are some crappy parts out there, and not enough people pay attention to their heatsink.
