Bruce Lee was the writer and directer of that film. Just sayin'.
Clearly he was simply fulfilling his childhood dream of one day being stronger than Chuck Norris.

Err, DotA doesn't do well at all, regardless of a banlist. Community = terrible, getting into a game with people of the proper skill level = terrible. The damn thing is literally unplayable if you aren't in a clan. As we can see from DotA, a banlist will do nothing against the ever-streaming tide of laggers, leavers, and afkers who knock at your door. I'll wave to you next time I see you on the beach with a teacup, trying to drain the ocean.
I realy got to ask this, why do every body think that Chuck Norris can take on any thing. The jokes are funny as hell, but were did thid all start from. I mean Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were in just as many action flicks as he was. Heck, the one action flick where he and Bruce Lee face off, Lee kills him.
The Chuck jokes were started by a group of bored teenagers who were sick of seeing him on TV and made a site about him
Quoting TheGuildfordStrangler, reply 2I suggest forcing the game to run at lowered settings if the simspeed drops to a level below 0. I have less sim speed than others, but a good pc, so i tried to lower settings. The result was that I got just graphic bugs till a new match loaded. Plus I know I don't have a high-end cpu. So sim speed depends mostly on cpu and all settings depend on graphic card. And it doesn't help to lower settings inga
Actually in DotA there are a lot of extra effects dependant on the specific hero and item combo. Not all items need to cause a change, (why would TB change his staff for a sword when getting Askandor..). Plus altering models and having addon items is actually relatively simple and light work (the hard part is the items usage and damage and they are already there). Also if you look to DotA as a comparison you could see the targets inventory when they
Hello, as I'm sure several people are sick of hearing, I've run into a problem with ingame ping spiking. However, I thikn I may have found a lead (yes, I've port forwarded, have a decent upload rate, etc, I've been through the measures, trust me. For details on the problem, see Dead Ghost's post here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352593/page/3/#2248317 It contains my exact problem, along with that of many others on the thread. Anyways, pure and simple, has anyone e
Hmm. I, too, have a Nvidia 9600, but I doubt that's the problem. More importantly, I also have a motorolla surfboard modem. Does anyone else on this thread? We may have hit a breakthrough.
Quite obvious that was intended. And it sounds like a viable tactic for jerks. And sadly the internet and especially anything related to dota is full of them!
Geez, by reading the forums you'd think there was never such thing as an asshole before dota came around. [e digicons][/e] Spiking your ping is a trick that can be used in a variety of shooters, Diablo II, and a number of other games, though, and thus
I suggest forcing the game to run at lowered settings if the simspeed drops to a level below 0.
This please. If it continues to run below zero, it may be necessary to create a democratic kick button. :/ I hate this idea myself, but playing on -3 speed in a 2v2... is unacceptable.
Err, to his defense, some of us have gone through various procedures and still have immense difficulties with the game. However, another QQITWONTWORK thread feels like a waste of space on the Forum's servers. Just imagine, if you collected all the useless posts like this one, and printed them out on paper, you could probably block out the sun.

Has anyone found a solution as of late?
Edit: post deleted because I remembered this is a tower rook build, and not slam. Whoops.
Quad cores will triumph whenever people figure out a way to use the damned things.
For everyone who's been bashing slam, you must have been fighting idiot rooks. The potential on a roll+slam combo is enough to keep most melee characters at bay. Combine that with common sense (aiming it a little bit ahead of a fleeing opponent, cancellation baiting, TP crushing, reverse TP crushing, etc), and it becomes not only an effective skill, but a hilarious one. "Oh god, you just walked straight INTO 1700 damage! Hoo boy, there goes your health, old bean." Properly aimed rolls
Depending on your mobo, you can probably get around a 30% overclock on your current CPU if you're willing to put in the time. All you'd need to do is get a decent heatsink, and you can save some money and put o
I'm also clean, according to Glastnost. Of course, I coulda told you that from checking my torrents... Edit: I've also seen minor spiking in 2v2's as of the latest patch, strange... Bandwidth monitor comes up just fine, so I have no idea what the heck could be possibly going on.
NERF TB! HE'S SO OP!!!! Sorry, had to. Did it ever occur to you that Regulus has amazingly low hitpoints? Erebus: charge at reg and wait for the mines. He'll throw them, it's his job. Then you can batswarm to him, skipping the mines entirely, or send a little rollie through first :) Boom. Sorry rolly, but it just looks so cute when you explode. Fight him until you've lost 750 health, then bite. Repeat as necessary. He'll die eventually. </p
Hot damn! That's what it was all along, apparently. Once I set up a wide enough port range on the router, and then reset the ports directed to each machine, and then reset them on each machine with the supplied uitility, it worked. We played several 3x3's without incident. Thanks guys for the suggestion. I thought I'd tried everything, but obviously didn't know that port forwarding had to be done on an individual pc basis. Gl
If you just stay back and heal with Sedna, you're doing it wrong (imho). She has exactly one heal spell. Her HP regen from her passive is rediculous, and she has pretty solid health the way most people build her. Her pounce, one of her foremost moves, is practically melee range, and the alternative would be to go for Yetis, who are considered useless pretty close to across the board. So I wouldn't recommend you stay back unless you are seriously low on HP. As for the mi
OK, but take your TB with you. He's useless clutter, and I've been trying to get you to let em go for years. It's really about time. -signed, Regulus
Mmm. Quite frankly, if your computer is running slowly in general, it may be time for my favorite reccomendation: Reformat your hard drive [e digicons][/e]
TheGuildfordStrangler. I've never played a game with him, but he seems to feel left out [e digicons]8C[/e] Just kidding man.
You know, some of my favorite games I've been paired with noobs. We tended to lose horribly (except once, where the enemy team RQ'ed), but they were evidently new to internet gaming or something, as they appeared to have a soul and enjoy themselves despite an amazing loss. And yeah, anyone who shouts in all-chat "Ooohhmygod whathaveIdoneI'monfire!!!" as his TB nets his first kill is alright in my book. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
