Myst was very big on the WTF factor. Anyone who beat a level of myst could either attest to its (and their own) brilliance, or admit that they were just pressing random buttons. For those of us who could actually solve a level, the game was actually amazingly good. And amazingly frustrating.

Pfft. "Better than L4D".
Sounds like a possible cause of the "spiking" effect. Shame you discovered this after Yarlen pissed me off, already processing the refund! Maybe when things improve i'll re-purchase.
Mmm... I hope this fixes my spiking in 3v3+ games, but I have my doubts, seems completely unrelated.
This is solid evidence of my theory that people who work too long turn into rabid clowns. Now we just wait for the bite...
Erebus gains 300 health with bite. If he takes that at level 1, you spit and stand next to the creeps, you'll ultimately lose 300 life for his 150. If you harass and run, then maybe you've got a bit of an advantage. Right up until the first point in mist, in which case all hope is lost.
Banned for having an opinion. Supress free speech! (has no dictator emote. Damn)
Global banlists are an extreme waste of time. In DotA, they're largely an excuse to get a slot open for a friend. You don't even have to have a list, as long as you know ctrl+c, ctrl+v. I fail to see how they would be any use whatsoever in a game which is clearly having connectivity issues.
Machine Head. Between shoddy graphics, a terrible story line, zero tutorial, and controls that were sub-par at best, every time I dared to put it into my PS1, a part of me died inside.
You can't cap flags when you're dead.
Perfectly stated.
Interesting idea. I do think that mutating -all- creeps might be a bit overpowered, considering what would happen if your opponents got giants/catapults. I'll admit, I thought it was gonna be a ripoff on UB (which is why I personally didn't make a disease-based character), but I like the abilities! :) Again, I do hope you change its appearance, as Bravo said.

Banned for having 0 kar-- no, I just... I can't do it. Banned for being a darth long after starwars has gone out of fashion.
I rarely ever put more than 1 point into mist; for me it's just a stall tactic. Does anyone actually use it like bite?
Generally, any more than 80ms and games come tumbling down, some are more tolerant than others but that largely depends on the type of game.
I can tell you as a user who always has pings of 100+ that such a statement is amazingly incorrect. Most people are afraid of 'high' pings because they only know the basic idea "higher ping means higher lag time", but in fact, a game can still be quite functional with 15+ users who

Dude, no one was taking anything else. There was a balance issue. A difference of 1800 hp between you and your opponent, compounded by a cripple and armor reduction effect seems a little bit harsh to me.
I have a feeling that when people get into 5v5 matches there will be a massive increase in the effectiveness of AoE spells. Perhaps then even Erebus can have his bite back. But I doubt it.
Honestly, I'm on the side of anything that kills cats.
Snipe-Banned for having an avatar that looks like a bulls-eye.
Bleh, I play Erebus, and even I admit that he was in drastic need of a nerf.
I dunno if you know this, Azrail, but... Foxes already won the war. :) You see, it all came down to the Great Sleepy Catnip Ambush of 19-forgotten, *rambles on for 6 hours*
You know, I've played a few games and gotten nothing but good sports and people who just wanted to have a good time so far, except for one guy, who quickly ragequit, and was not a bother to us anymore. The community on DG is very, very impressive. Edit: Hmm. WoW community vs. DotA. That really is a toughie.
I can't believe someone would actually hope that "Some day, if we're lucky, our community could be just like 4chan!" I mean, that's like "One day, I hope my country can be as stable and peaceful as the Middle East! With clowns!"
Sorry to whoever's game I just wrecked, but I just encountered the most bizzare glitch. While I could upgrade my skills and move my character, I could not cast spells, use shops, or pick a target for attack. Essentially, it seems like most of my UI was glitched for some reason. I tried spamming escape, then resetting my keys, but both to no avail. Anyone seen/know how to correct this glitch?
Looks like Pantheon hasn't been played recently; Is that just a lack of data, or is Pantheon currently busted?
