It is ballanced for team play. A game can ballance itself towards one on one fights, or it can ballance itself for team play. For example, in most FPS games a sniper is going to beat you silly unless you are another sniper. However, if you are on a team, a tank can counter a sniper quite handily, leading to AT infantry countering tanks whilst being countered by snipers. Demigod is the same way. Reg is very easy to kill due to his low armor and

The problem with 3 forms should be reasonably obvious. Unless he was given a 5th slot for spells, you would either end up with 2 buttons wasted on shifts at all times (that's 2 attacks per form. Bleh.), or he would have to shift through one form to get through another. This means that if the cycle was lion->bear->wolf, and you wanted to go from lion to wolf, you'd waste time in bear form. Gross. Even if he was given a 5th key, this would mean that his attacks would be spread out amoungs
I regret having even played Halo II, luckily I didn't buy the piece of junk. But my worst purchases? 1) Tales of Symphonia II-- Remember Navi, from Majora's Mask? Just imagine that thing as your main character. Only clinically depressed. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. SORRY! Sorry. *Sigh* I'm sorry." 2) Ultimate Spider Man-- Cool graphics in no way make up for a game whose sole difficulty lies in wonky controls and abnoxious time trials. 3) World of Warcraft: Wrath
Keep on truckin'. Spirits seem incapable of hitting a moving target. As regulus, all I can really reccommend for -killing- spirits would be the egg, as others have mentioned. But as other characters, almost any AoE will suffice.
I dunno why everyone's so scared of tower rooks. The towers don't last terribly long, are single target, and cannot focusfire. Minions, AoE's, long-range attacks, and armor are all easy counters.
I just want to say, 35% is (expletive removed) impressive. Will be very glad to see this update. [e digicons]:D[/e]

I like the idea of the warmonger, though as a personal math pet peeve, you shouldn't label two variables with the same descriptor, i.e., Damages target for X damage and other nearby targets for X% of damage done. This reads that you deal a certain amount of damage, let's say 200, and then deal that same amount in percent to nearby enemies (200% of 200). In demigod, this would lead to spells that either do nothing to the original target, or massive amounts of damage to those surrounding. Still
You would only be able to see the Sedna for sure, TB and Oak may be outside the fog and Reg could be miles away in the other lane. At the very first level you would be ok so long as you suffered no more hits, at level 4 you will take ~1900 damage from the nukes which is more health than some heroes have, and within an autoattack or two of the others. This is approximate of course, but you can surely appreciate even a good player could die very
I still have a problem where I cannot connect to 3v3+ games without massively lagging as soon as the game starts up. I have enough Upload speed, and my IP is not blocking torrents, AND I've disabled all other programs on the computer while playing demigod. A few others seem to have this exact same problem.
Furthermore, by building for mana Erebus sacrifices all ability to deal significant damage or live through a fight while remaining useful. He has bite and batswarm for damage, totalling less than 2k. After those abilities are used up, he almost surely will need to hide in his mist again, for lack of HP. Furthermore, we've already discussed that this build almost requires a minion set, so you tie yourself to three skill trees, not leaving much room for modification. Hardly imbalanced.

The question was whether or not Erebus was imbalanced. Insisting that they have characters who are inherently more effective than your teams somewhat negates
It's a cool idea and one that has been thought of by many people for many different games. The problem with it, is that it doesn't support the core mechanic of Demigod, which is controlling your demigod. Instead it turns it into a rather trivial game of RTS chicken. There really isn't too much depth of strategy with this, and it just distracts from the rest of the game. Cool idea for a gam

I disagree. The gold you get from a hero kill represents the risk that you took to get it. The minions are not exactly a danger to you, and are thus worth minimal amounts of gold.
Nah, I play with friends enough, I just usually do it on LAN. It's from a pubbie who's seen what happens when you join a random DotArd game.
I would hate this update. Imagine trying to get a game of demigod in late at night when all your friends are elsewhere, knowing that not only are you likely to take forever to get into a game, but chances are, it's a DotA-style premade. Frustrating.
Did you ever see custer's? I caught my friend playing it, but I didn't even know it was porn till he'd told me himself.
No More Heroes + Killer 7 = wierd in all the right ways [e digicons]
If it could be done immediately without your demi there, some guy would always be switching them around, just to irritate his own team. Especially if the command had a graphic or noise.
Still having issues-- in a 3v3, my usage is 75-100 kb. Any ideas?

Seems like it would usually just end up in everyone pouring their troops down the same lane, or having to rush back to base to switch the creeps' pathway. Unyieldy and mildly pointless in my opinion.
