It works very well for two-shotting casters. At level one, the stun is the exact same length as the wind-up for the slam. It is tricky, but very possible to net kills this way. If you prioritize your stun level over your slam level from there on out, you are golden. Especially if you have some unexpected speed.
You can actually level the two up at the same time, keeping the timing perfect, if you're feeling

I play a (semi) towerless rook by putting a single point into towers, making myself a free TP spot (Yay!). Between teleports and speed items, Rook can easily become the most mobile unit on the map. Add in Amulet of Teleportation or swift anklet for even more chaos.
I wanna see an all rook battle. That must be an absolute clusterfuck.
More importantly what do you do if they don't listen to what you have to say?
Err, generally, lose.
Unfortunatley, since there is no replay feature implemented into Demigod yet, it is hard to tell what you are doing wrong. What items do you build? Skills? Besides those, we'd really have to see how you play the game. If you have a program that takes replays for you (I've seen a couple replays around, you could ask Dead Ghost, and I'm sure he might be able to help you with that), take a replay of your game, and we'll see what we can do from there. A couple simple tips:<

Both skills require you to aim them. I'd like to see more such "aimed" skills in future demigods. Boulder is so much fun, because it's like bowling with a moving target! BTW, towers don't scale well late-game, and they are boring to play with.
This.
I think people over simplify things. Reading through these forums is just an exercise in 1.)THERE IS A HUGE PROBLEM!! THE WORLD IS GOING TO END. 2.) no like there is none, nor have ever been any problems in demigod and i like never die and kill everyone 2vs1 with Queen of Thorns.. btw here is a picture of some kittens. To those sayin
man i should have taken some screenshots of a game i played yesterday. 3on3 on Cataract, all 6 players were Oak. we had an Oak Power Rangers brawl. it was hilarious. obviously my team won because our Megazord was the strongest. Actually, interrupts do stop it. As, ironically, does healing.
What I would like to know is why the machines captured the teenager (can't remember his name for the life of me), realized who he was, and then, rather than execute him, used him as a trap for John Connor. Killing him right then and there would remove John Connor from the timeline, thus solving their problem. And how did they know who he was, anyways? Did they send a terminator to themselves to warn them that he would travel back in time and impregnate Sara Connor? I du
electricity, bycicles, and even the tango. WTH? I can understand Rock N' Roll, TV and Radio, but THOSE? How could electricity corrupt a kids' mind? Would not having to worry about a candle or oil lamp setting his house on fire make him lazy? As for the bike, would he think walking was for "squares" and ride his bike every where?
Electricity was thought to provide a man too
I have no trouble with oaks who use HoL, playing TB, erebus, rook, or UB. Simply stun him and his HoL becomes worthless, and chances are if he wasted that much money on it, he's not that strong and you can beat the living bejeezes outta him afterwords.
The HoL has passives? I thought it was just an activated effect.
There's a similar thread to this, but I'm far too lazy to look it up. Machine Head for the PS1. Terribly shoddy graphics, a control scheme that is not explained and was about as stable as an elephant balanced atop a teacup covered in butter. The amazingly stupid storyline, terrible AI, unclear objectives, and lack of a tutorial certainly did it no favors.
Yeah ofc I can outflag other ppl, but this is horribly boring, because only walking around the map and stand next to a flag, doesn't require the skill you need to outfarm your enemy in DotA. You completly missed/ignored my point. In DG there are not much possibilites to beat your enemy with good player skills. So the game is concentraded on running around and standing next to flags... whooo yeah I need nice graphics for such things.
<
I'll admit, way back when I started getting alright in DotA, I'd play Newbie games just to have someone to crush. However, as I got better at the game, I found them less and less appealing. If everyone in the game was a noob, you would quickly become bored and mildly irritated. I expect that with everyone it's a passing fad, but in the meantime, don't judge the lobbies by their covers.
To add even more fuel to the fire, in Germany you (as an inmature child) can see nudetiy but cannot see bloody volience even if you are an adult. Other countries have similar screwed up moralities imho This has been a much debated subject and can get very frustrating on all sides
Such blind ignorance is appalling. "Surely, if someone thinks other than myself, he or she is completely wrong, and in the fault morally.
Sigh. In response to all the complaints about DotA bashing, I've played the game myself for god knows how long, still love it, and still play it. But that doesn't mean that everything in DotA must be converted to Demigod. I think, in terms of creeps, that we should be given double the creeps at half the XP intake. For those of you who need help with the math, that's the same amount of XP, but with a little more gold and more 'threatening' creeps. That's really all that has to
There are three flags that are essential to have to win, Gold, Exp, and the Artifact Flag (mostly to make sure the other guy can't use it, but also because on most maps it is one of the first two as well).
Yeah, I was just using gold as an example [e digicons];)[/e]
Yes, I have since retried it. Same issue.
T4 was pretty nice if you just wanted to see things explode. I got what I paid for, not terribly surprised I didn't get a cent more. And I think you might be overanalyzing the intelligence of the plotline, particularly in relation to the target audience.
I'm not certain I've ever heard a yo mama joke that wasn't rude. How to begin....
Has anyone else renamed the overlay file in the .bin directory like Frogboy said? I did it, then strangely could not connect. But my internet was pretty wonky at the time, so that might not have been the problem.
Requesting more kitty pictures on this thread. Get to it.
Yeah, I live out in the Pacific, so I've seen this problem. It'll change for you when the official Europe release comes out.
