The point is not that this game is not Dota, but theres not enough variety in the game itself. There are not very many items, demigods, but luckily there are quite a few maps.

[quote who="Dead Ghost" reply="14" id="2180449"]Because more heroes lead to more interesting and diverse matches. You can only do a finite combination with 8 demigods and their items, and can get old fast. Not so with 20+ demigods. I'm not saying that i'm bored already with Demigod, but i'm not seeing myself playing the same matches after 4 months or so. I'm not even saying that i'm disappointed with the initial release of just 8 demigods, as they will take some time to fully master them. But
[quote quoting="post"]Was part of the beta, was unimpressed. Actual game mechanics aren't as tight as DOTA. Building up to higher tier items was a way better feature rather than in Demigod where you just buy the single item. On top of that, ganking is totally missing from Demigod. You see Demigods clearly and fog of war is nothing in comparison to the fog of war in DOTA that you can actually hide in. Furthermore, the depth of each demigod doesn't make up for the lack of different ones. Skill
So, for the sake of arguing, I'll call sedna unbalanced because she can use a 1500 heal every 5 seconds and she has a super health regen.
not whining you 12 year old, its a question of curiousity.
Are all the new demigods meant to be put into mods, or has Stardock said that they will pay attention to our ideas and will try to create updates to represent them? Also, only 8 demigods first implemented in the game is too few imo.
there's still no way demigod support is worse than Hellgate London support.. its impossible
Myself as well.. i had over 1000, and then 420, and then 10
Is there a way to group up (with one other person) and play in the Pantheon?
I thought you could now actually gain favor.. although I still can't.
Myself, being an Unclean Beast, and a Queen of Thorns handled two spamming rooks fine on Zikurat
