I remember you Marvinkosh I couldn't figure out how to get that mod to work. Some of us just need to be able to download and play a mod. I do understand not all mods are made that way. P also found it hard to download and install mods in general on Stardock. I could use a guide on how to install and make a mod for Galactic civilizations 3.

As far as I can tell the founders resource works. New stuff you should check out today.
Yea, there are a number of areas that if you start with GalCiv II as the base, you can take it up to the next level. For examples: The UI in GalCiv II is pretty dated, GalCiv III has a really good tool tip system that gives you a lot of helpful information. We were able to expand the economics and diplomacy via an ideology system and a new United Planets system.
Can't
I much prefer Stardock to use their time and ressources to make a Solid Strategy game experience and polish the UI and Gameplay and other Essential elements of the game.
I agree that I would rather a better game than this, but if it weren't going to slow things down this would be nice. This does sound something Tyranasaur would do in his free time. This could also be in the forums instead, so any
Some of these posts are funny!!! Yes I know a micrebiologists. I actually meant astro physicists.
But, what was that repair rate based on? I don't have the answer to that question, but I suspect that the experience level of the ship's crew (which is what the experience level must really represent) is a factor -- maybe the only factor.
Okay, this topic seems touchy. I'll bet I'm in the minority when I say I don't want heroes the way Endless Spa
I wholeheartedly agree with that please Stardock don't do this unless it is reasonably competent unless you give me an option to shut this off. It sounds like a good idea if they do it right. Yes little is known except they are not going to have tactics and they are going to keep most things the same. So I'm trying to visualize theese changes based on the assumption that they are based around the current game. We know that the battles will still be done automatically cause tha
Well if you been paying attention most of us have spelling and grammer errors. These are good ideas. This wont make the factions play like theu should' basically in a the sandbox the bad guys and good guys play like each other. I agree with you make the Ai's as realistic as possible. I would like the game to reward you for playing like the way the game should play. Like for instance the Drengin are happy fighting other factions. The Arceans are happy trying to stop them. The Drath are
I hate to micro manage. As said given a choice I will automate all the mundane stuff. Press the turn button and let the AI manage.[/quoteubgs] For the most part I would only do this if I got tired. I tried governors on civilization didn't like them. Maybe things would have been different if all they built was military units, but instead they were building things at the time I thought was unimportant in ti
They never thought that the Soviets would destroy their own cities then let them be captured. I would never thought to plan for that. That was a lot of supplying for 200 divisions.
Quoting admiralWillyWilber, reply 4Spinoffs is something Stardock does look at Sins of a solar empire SoaSE is a spinoff? From what? Honest question, I never played it. Even if it is a spinoff, it was made by Ironclad. Stardock only published it and helped a little with its development.
Galactic civilizations 2 Dark avatar. If you read the tech trees they have a number of the same techs. At least on
That was funny!!!
Well depending on what role options you can assign to your ships when you design them in the ship yard. Assuming the other fleet is comparable to yours both fleets has battleships one cruisers and a carrier with fighters then your fighters would not do much if they were like on Sins of a solar empire your fighters would attack your cruisers where your cruiser would be helping the battleships take out the enemies battleship. You will assign the roles to the ships in the shipyard, a
At least something other than just hit points when leveling up.
It would be interesting in a later game to find out they were just con men that just got lucky when they invented terror stars to have something to blow up and save the universe. This does also open up a concept for a minor faction of Thalans seperate from the major faction of Thalans. There is a possibility that they came from a paralell world that is similar, but different from our own. I guess we will probably find out in a future game. These are definatly mod ideas.
GalCiv III is substantially more complex the GalIv II. Three quick examples: 1. united Planets now involves proposing bills rather than voting on random items.
Great to hear that! This is awesome!!!
More the merrior on Ai programming considering that is the most important part of a single player game is how good the computer can fight a fair fight against you.
Welcome then!
Pro Jagged Knife I only wish that they would start building buildings for morale and economics to maintain the new empire to the point that they can function. This would at least make them more challenging. I think that they shouild build all the super projects they can. When they are ready to handle themselves then they gear up for war. Not to mention if they build extra super projects then this is a nice incentive to take back your planets. While this is happening all the Ai&#
I was surprised to hear the details of this campaign. I would have lost this fight if I was the soviets. I would not have destroyed three of my cities. The reason there was no winter gear was that the Germans were expecting to live comfortably in the exsoviet cities when there were not cities to stay in because there were no cities to take because they were destroyed by there own people.
Wacky Insane Person WIP
This is funny, but you are right that if you mixed up words like that on a universal translator that would be funny.
Well I'm pro dread lords mega events. I pro Jagged knife mega event. I think the Jagged knife needs fixed economically, and the A's would want their planets back. I'm not pro auto upgrade. These could work as an option. If auto upgrade is an option I probably use it sometimes.
They already have a leveling system I'm sure your talking a leveling system that adds something else than hit points like anti matter abilities on Sins of a solar empire, heroes, or picking abilities when you level up. I like to star combat system on panzer general.
Mouse over the tech you want to see and right click it.
