Well one of the things that scientists discovered a long time ago is that hydrogen which is in water makes it impossible to date using rhadioactive dating. All the other dating methods they use says this planet isn't older than 200000 years old. Just one hole. Without radioactive dating I then can't conclude this planet is 4800000000 years old.

Well I honestly would prefer the current system than the closed borders idea. After world war 2 the United States started flying b27's over the Soviet Union. Later u2's. Finally the Soviet Union shot down a u2. The United States said they had the right to fly spy planes for gathering information over someone else's air space. The Soviet Union was paranoid of war so were we. We continued to fly U2's over the Soviet Union, while the Soviet Union flew Mig 25's over us. So the United States, and

Hi Rap you do understand that influence is determined by your planets, and starrbases, not just your planets. Even, if it was just your planets they are not evenly spaced apart. Now as far as the fow I think it does it one space from the edge of you influence border. I've noticed this problem to.

Well I don't think the mechanic is broken, but I would agree that anything can be made better. Guantlet has some good ideas. Guantlet has agreed with me kindof. I wouldn't want to see an arbitrary invisible field where I can't pass without an open borders treaty kind of thing. You have a right to make that policy though. I like the map idea too. Isolationism is a real thing. It got the US industrialism in the early 1800's. Didn't work out for Libya when they tried it. I'd be ok wi

Well one of the worst ideas I've seen in games was when civilization changed the open borders treaty to not letting you enter someone's territory without war. It doesn't help endless space with this. They would do better getting rid of it. Closing borders without an open borders treaty hurts not helps games. I haven't learned to live with it. I have to learn to live with it with other games. This is one game mechanic I hope never comes to galactic civilizations. I guess this could be a game o

Ok so what I rad is that conflict between people produce change. On top of that I would like to point out we used to not be the apex. So we are to assume that the stem mammals, and the dinosaurs didn't fight among them selves. I don't beleive you. We still need an answer to why a hominoid didn't try to evolve in environments that changed like the rest of the world the americas; even though they also had monkeys. One could say when climate changed in Europe we were forced out o

The difference between creationism and flat earth is the flat earth has been dis proven without there being any doubt. Weather were are talking about satalites, spaceships, or telescopes. With evolution there are many holes in it. As science progresses more, and more creationism seems more, and more likely as science keeps changing. There are sound arguments on either side.

Ok I understand that we filled an empty nich. Maybe the great apes did. So for a long time the Americas were isolated from the rest of the world. Not even Native Americans. We even had mega Fauna that weren't in the rest of the world, or have became extinct everywhere els gre. So here is the question why were there no other humanoids, or other great apes for that matter when we had plenty of monkeys in the Americas while we evolved in the old world. First in europe then in Africa. The nich di
