My guess this is more of a response to all the obscure complaints on micromanagement. Micromanagement is caused because of what type of game it is. The solution that they originally had was comonwealths, then the complaints went away after the game incorporated Commonwealth's. The solution to this new problem was to make it an option that is on by default. If you shut this option off then we go back to the old surrender mechanic.

In 2003 they were testing three operating systems. One was XP service pack two, one was Vista, the other was seven. They decided to go with service pack two instead of seven. Later when they decided to replace XP they liked Vista, because it did less than seven. They realised later that they should have went with seven instead of Vista. We could have went with a rawer less polished version of seven in 2003. Instead of having it in 2007. We would be having right now what we will have in 2024.&

I'm sorry I figured it out right before I went to bed. Windows Media player played rose red, but it was to late for me to watch it.

I don't know I just tried playing a DVD movie off windows media player. That didn't work, so I tried downloading the free version of Real Player that didn't work. So microsoft is charging extra to play DVD movies. That is a huge minus for ten. Yes I think that 8 is one of the biggest mistakes microsoft made.

I remember doing this two years ago. I just tried to play the movie Red Rose off a DVD on my computer. I used to use Windows Media Player that didn't work it would only play off my hard drive. Why would I save a movie I'm only going to watch once. I even tried to auto play. Neither windows media player, or the free version of real player play it. That is what the computer said. O.K. according to the computer windows media player which used to do it. Real player wants to charge me to p

I remember a post that we were comparing the best processors for gaming, and starkers chimed in, and said he was going AMD(personally I have no qualms either way, other than supporting American to help our economy). Then right after that Intel admitted to knowing about a bug they knew about the last ten years. This was forcing them to slow down all their processors considerably. Even playing Galactic Civilizations my processor seems slower. Yesterday I read a couple of articles. Intel only ha

The tech screen upon leaving ideology shouldn't be a tough fix. Nor should having a global "don't upgrade planetary build

I would say ten is better. Or at least better that eight. I think vista is better than eight. edit I just found out that windows ten can't play DVD's for free.

I don't know why anyone would like windows 8.1 to my opinion it is worst than Vista. Strike 4 for windows on that one.

Having played since the beta I can say this bug was not always there. Talking programming this was probably caused when a value that was passed with sensors was changed. If I'm understanding things correctly. Sensors used to be a flat value, and unlimited range when you stack them. Only limited by hull size, and sensor size. Now they have a cap. Sensors may now work of a percent, not a flat value. Or this might have been caused when they wrote 1 gigabyte class to make su

I had a similar problem with three. With two the icon was red if you couldn't colonise the planet. You could see it without highlighting the planet. Yellow if you couldn't fully colonise it, and green if you could without any penalty to production. That made it easier. In three the icons are different for each type of planet, which is not as good as before. I don't care about the type of planet only if it is colonisable or not.

I'm not really an expert in games, because after I found Galactic Civilizations 2 Dark Avatar I fased out other games. Most computer games I seen were in the last decade, but not made then. Probably the worst game I've seen was Spore so much wasted potential in the game. I'm going to have to say the worst game in the last decade is explorer craft it keeps crashing, and Everytime it crashes I lose its stuff. Now a game that went from my favorite to my worst was Ci

I only heard one bad thing about windows 10 people talked about over the years. That is you can't shut down windows sending about user reports to Microsoft. windows 10 does run smoother than windows 7, except in two areas. The start menu isnt labeled start. This doesn't sound like a big deal, unless your old, and like my dad he didn't know ibm computers. So when he turned on the computer, and went to start, and went to help, and support. He figured it out on his own this way. Th

Chinese democracy is the worst album guns and roses did. Axel what were you thinking when you fired the band. Just one in a string of retarded choices that this guy's makes. He just does what he wants he doesn't care about other people.

Well I play multiplayer, and like to see some luv there. I wouldn't mind 3d it would be another way to get around blocked expansion, but the problem is that due to physics if it's not solid it flatens. We only live in a 3d universe on the small scale. If the height of the universe is only 100au that is not very big. The rest is empty space. My guess is when this concept was figured out no one knew how flat the universe really was. I didn't realise this. Or most game desi

One thing they mentioned which would send me packing is that planets won't be self managed. I also don't like the idea of star lanes, but only half as much as not having manual planet building. Making galciv 3 better, and coming out with galciv 4 is what they are looking at. Adaptive AI is what they are looking at. They haven't talked about data driven since 2016.

My understanding is they want to become like the United States of America, but in all honestly it began with a perfect storm, and the reaction to it. Napoleon Bonaparte, our reaction to this was to try to break Britians, and Frances economies by not trading with Europe. The reason this didn't blow up in our faces. Is we industrialised. A possible reproduction of this for east African would first make sure you could grow the food to support isolation. Then bring in the people who are train
