Ok free gaming on Facebook. Facebook basically took over MySpace. Mocospace basically is like Facebook, but instead if Facebook discouraging you from meeting new people. Mocospace encourages you to meet new people. My guess if they advertised better. They would do better. The more successful other social networks looks for something no one else does, and does that. Neighborhood you only socialize people in your zip code. Twitter you tweet thoughts. You need to find something no one successful
In GalCiv3 you could have 5 planets sponsor a shipyard. Now a single Core Planet sponsors a shipyard, and Minor Colonies sponsor Core Planets. But if you want to make most of your colonies Cores, you can with Governors. So have it. I like the feeder system, it makes sense. And it helps build powerful Core Colonies to dominate with. Yes you're not improving your Minor Colonies, but that's not their function. They are <br
A very poor exchange I agree, but a higher class planet that doesn’t build anything. A class 5 or so colony. Ok I agree colonies cap out at 3 population is dependent on class. Class one or two would have a one or two citizen you couldn’t use where a class three, four, or five or oils cap out at three citizens. I have seen a different number from f citizens on colonies. My guess some planet types limits this citizen cap at one colonists. Without a further learning, my guess populat
Alright I've played long enough to have an informed opinion. Here are some of my praises and concerns: Core Planets and Colonies First let me say I love the concept of Core Planets and feeder Colonies. Could we please get the ability to see the landscape of a Colony, so we can choose wisely whether it's our best option for a Core Planet? Maybe a "Survey Planet" o
We probably need to do a better job of communicating this. But assigning a governor isn't just having a person in charge of the planet. Its dedicating resources to changing the planet from a small group of colonists scratching out a meager exitance there with whatever resources the colony ship provides, into a world with cities, factories, and amusement parks. Where entire generations live, grow, and raise their families. The as
Quoting admiralWillyWilber, reply 8 I like the option idea. Something else I was talking about is at least giving the colonies an auto build option. You could just carry over code from three. my safari on my iPhone says the security on this website is outdated. <b
Yeah I tried trading for everything, but the core planet for nonething, and it surprisingly accepted the deal. This is a bug that hopefully they will fix. Give them a chance to fix it before you exploit this.
Please if we are going to have the above please give us an option to replace governors.
I think if Stardock want to allow us to manually assign colonies to a particular Core World because, say it's got great research buffs: 1. That assignment should be permanent. Or at least.... 2. You can unlink a colony and send it's resources to another Core Planet, but the Governor the Core Planet who just lost Colony VegaIV to Core World VortexII is going to be one very angry camper with you as his leader an
Thanks for the response @DerekPaxton, that makes sense to me. If we always got a boost by making a core world, it breaks the whole colony/core-world paradigm because you'd always want core worlds. (And @Korwyn I do agree with you that there is a sense of realism in the current system as well.) After playing around with this more, I really think that the current system is fine, with the exception of the auto-assigned colonies. The abi
Very excited but I do have a concern. I want to manage a Galactic Civilization... not a bunch of Galactic civilians. Is it going to feel like I am managing 18 people, or 18 planets? I think my concern is based on "feeling" and not execution though. It may still feel like you are managing a civilization, just not sure based on how I am interpreting the dev journals. Thoughts?
your m

I agree with the op I think it should do the system as s is , but give you an option of reassigning colonies. One thing not taken into account is colonies are not built up. Core worlds are.

I remember the order and the Jagged Knife from two. It was broken and needed fixed. Every time people brought it up there were more comment that it wasn’t worse than some of the other events or it was broken than what the post was about. This would make a cool option.
The core worlds / colonies are here to stay. They're a..ahem...core feature. However, we are looking at having an option that would let players control the ratio between productive worlds and marginal worlds. So in effect, someone could set it up so that most planets are productive and combine that with a small number of habitable worlds.
I like the option idea. Something else I was talkin

Correct I did mention this on discord. What I was wondering if I settle a planet with this other species does it penalise me somehow.
