current state of Demigod - Feedback in Demigod Demigod Forums

Hi Demigod users, I purchased this game back in the first few weeks of beta and played for the first few months. I quickly lost interest due to bugs / no matchmaking / connection issues, ect I am now fully addicted to HoN(Heroes of Newerth) but I was thinking about giving this game another shot. Thanks to whoever posted the link to the HoN beta key. I played the game all weekend and overall I was very impressed, tons of features implimented that demigod lacks. If you are a casual gamer who enjoys a slower paced game demigod is for you, if you like competitive RTS gameplay HoN is money in the bank. I usually try to pug one game a night and I run into the same issues OP is talking about. I check the stats of each player and hosting team = 90% win premade and my partners 30% and below...yeah okay ill play WoW instead. The fact that custom game stats count towards your ladder ranking makes things so much worse, once this fix this things should get better.

I find it funny that I keep seeing these threads. I have played many online games and "noobs" get called out in every single game at one point or another. It really has nothing to do with the "demigod community", this is just how online games work so you should learn to ignore it and not take it to heart. lol that sucks. If this game could actually handle 4v4 or 5v5 games having a noob on your team would not be a huge deal. In a 2v2 or 3v3 game its pretty much gg and half the time the other team is an undercover 3 man team on vent so this doesen't really surprise me.

By looking at his stats I would say hes probably not purposly disconnecting. Even though he is getting the win it gives a loss to all of his premade partners as well. Why he would continue to be the host even though he has very sketchy network gear / dogs / brother knocking out the wires all the time is beyond me though.

wow, what a bunch of babies in this thread. suck it up and play the damn game. I remember I played my first 10-15 games without even knowing what favor items were and I had no problems winning games. Some guy said this change "favors people with no life" , wtf you could say that about pretty much any game.
