You should always try to play regardless if ur team "sucks". Because the truth is, your probab
90% of dota's skills are instant casted, so theres never a chance to cancel.
actually if your pro you know that there is always a split second to cancel spells. Only pro's know how to cancel spells in the amount of time you have to cancel. But there is a 1 second casting time for most spells. The only spells that are really hard to cancel are the new blink (which was done on purpose btw)
One thing about casting that DG has which Dota does not: being able to cancel casting a spell. I absolutely love the convenience of this. You cast the spell and just "undo" it by quickly issuing a move order before the cast time is up. It is very forgiving of mistaken casting or if the situation changes while the cast is in progress and I love this so far.
DoTa has that actually.
Ummm... Do you understand anything in gaming at all? IF you people didn't know, DOTA IS A GAME (yeah, I didn't believe that one either the first time I heard it) and DotA is in FACT a SUCCESSFUL GAME (Omg nooooo! Imba hax0r! Nooo my brain can't handle it! I better go ask other fanboys to help me out here). What's wrong with asking for good features from other games? It's like
lmao dude it is possible to not buy alot of games...and i dont pirate games. The only games ive ever played that were pirated... i actually owned in the first place, i just lost them, and they didnt make them anymore. And people like dota because of the complexness of it, and i just wanted to know if there are any dota players that feel the same way as i do. People chill out...
I like your list but I'm not sure about 16 Demigods. I would rather see say 12 Demigods and have their abilities and options expanded on so that they play much more differently than today. I worry about having too many Demigods because it dilutes the impact of each one (in GalCiv we kept adding races and people stopped really having a "favorite").
In the AOS/DOTA genre it is well known that team work
@FrogBoy Most of the recent games are not good enough to buy or pirate. Few games i would actually "buy". I only buy games that i really think im going to like (i buy about two games a year). That being said i actually spent my money on Demigod and i too am kinda dissapointed. The p2p networking is a hassle. But why im really let down by demigod, is that it isn't a very competitive game. This game drew me away from DOTA because it looked like it could be...the next DoTA. But in many w
