When I bought Starcraft Wings of Liberty, it looked nothing like Starcraft or Broodwar. I know Rebellion isnt SoSE 2 but they are charging people as if it was. I remember when expansions used to be expensive, 30 b
The Jump Gates are currently free due to the fact that it's bugged. The Stab's say Dark Fleet Combat and Support fleets are free, when in fact they cost a pretty penny to pt out. The only reason they are free is that when you click them the resources aren't taken for the ships you produce, when they are in fact supposed to. Still, the Dark Fleet is very useful in bad situations where things go up shit creek quickly.
<p
Normal reinforcements are free, but capitals still cost money and resources.
In such case, i can understand why the cooldown is so high. Werent the reinforcements 2500 credits in one of the previous betas? I would probably prefer, if it cost those 2500, money are not the issue after all, but you could spawn the stabilisers more often.
It definitely lacks offensive punch. Every other titan has some major damaging ability, except this one. The unupgradable weapons don't help either. As suggested, having the teleport do damage on arrival would help a bit. And of course fixing the ultimate so it works as advertised. As for the gates cooldown, you have to be VERY careful with this one. The reinforcements are free. O

Everybody has to use it for 1 thing every once in a while. It doesn't even take up such a large part of the screen. Just use stacks and compresses into like half the size.
Its not hard to believe, not at all. Some people (like me) are able to orient thems

As the title says, can you do it? Because i would like to, as i got never used to it and i constantly zoom in and out anyway. I rarely read the names of the planets, so browsing it to look for the one i want does not work for me, as i dont know its name anyway, its billion times faster for me to zoom in and out. Yes, i am more likely to remember the position of the planet i want to look at, even on more complicated map, than its name. It may be helpful during battles, to click u

One more thing i like to add, if you feel, that the Vorastra is underpowered fire-power wise, and there is nothing to balance it, perhaps instead of increasing the output of its cannons doubling the number of its fighter squadrons would do the trick. Its mobile base after all and its big, its bound to house shitload of fighters/bombers.

If enough people wanted a more high tech look and they decided to remake it as such then I'd be okay with that too. I don't see that happening. I'm betting most people either are okay with it or actually like it, so I may be in the minority. It's funny you say that about the Corsev - I also am not a fan of it's shape (if I'm thinking of the

When I originally replied to this, I misread. Yeah, some people are into that, which is good. When I learn Vasari, I might appreciate it more, but just not my thing right now. One day, I hope to be that guy who can set my race to random, but who knows - I might get good at all races/sub-faction

Regarding Orkies, i think, you should be not able to have more than 2 in gravity well at once, and such situation can occur only if you start building one, while another is on its way already through phase space. Obviously, when it arrives, it will go offline, but from this point on, you cant: neither start building new Orky, cause there are already 2 in the gravwell, one inactive neither can send another, for the same reasons it should IMHO work l
These are really minor concerns, but they are my first impression. As I mentioned in another topic, I didn't care for the voices. I like the tone, but not the raspy quality. Also, the ship design didn't grab me for either sub-faction. Not a fan of the SB either (Coridane takes cover as Vasari enthusiasts open fire). There were, however, things I did like (shouting over the gun fire). I will enjoy the challenge of fighting the Va

I'm not saying the current values are the best but I think its best kept high so have to be careful with it until the third/fourth upgrades. As it its I'll probably just get the first version of this ability and only use it in emergencies. 2. I assure you the

As a Loyalist fan, i would indeed like it, but from gameplay/balance standpoint, i think its ok as it is. In short, JJBuck is right. And Loyalists do not really need it. They are most likely to keep all their ships together with the Titan, because they do not have to care about fronts and chokepoints anymore. It would be nice to have Orkulus alongside the fleet, when attacking enemy planet, but they can do without it. Personally, i just left Orky in every gravwell i consumed for

Was there a need for a new thread with the same name? [e digicons]:)[/e] Anyway, i agree on the first point absolutely, cooldown for Phase Stabilisers needs to be cut down drastically, as its IMHO the main ability of the Vorastra. I would agree with the increased maneuverability of the Titan, shortly after performing the micro jump, not sure about those other increased AoE related things and in general, increased firepower. I would not mind added Phase Mi

Not really blown by the voice-over myself, but its acceptable...and some of the unit taunts(?) are pretty funny. In regard to ship design, especially Vasari, overall its IMHO very satisfying, i personally dont like some of the over the top "pointy" and "stingy" Vasari models, but those more compact ones, like Kortul, Vulkoras, Skirantra, Overseer, Skirmisher, Destructor, Ruiner ... are very good, have a lot of character and would be good enough for any real sci-fi TV

After a bit of thought (this is what i think about while im at work ) I'd rather have it do, as you said, half the damage I posted earlier (so maybe 225, 350, 475, 600) and give the titan a 10 second boost to turn rate. That way its useful when running away and when attacking stuff. Also, please please (devs) make the titan use regular wave cannons, not the pulse waves. Makes little sense that the titan cant make use of one of the V

I like it personally. Not sure, how it compares to other titans in terms of firepower or durability, but i absolutely love the microphase jump - the joy of not having to move across gravity well, but simply jump - and the spawn phase stabiliser gives you superb strategical advantage. I would change just 2 things: - let the Maw target cruisers as well, not only frigates/corvettes, because when you usually hit level 6, enemy fleets tend to consist more of cruisers than frigs, now with T

It is rather interesting that the developers would identify a tech with such a unique name, which is what this entire "Charybdis" business probably is - just a curious name, nothing more. Is it just me, or does anyone else thinks that perhaps the Orkuluses (Orkuli?) should be able to jump only into adjacent gravitywell, if its your own? So you could move them only to help out defense? EDIT: Thinkin about it more, if it proves to be OP, i would do following changes: Make SB Mobilisation 2-stage research. Keep it at level 5. First level would allow you to jump the Orkulus to any adjacent well, which is owned by you. Second level would allow y

Firs thing i noticed - sorry to nitpick, but i cant help it - those six exclusive techs at the bottom of subfaction selection screen for Vasari Loyalists still include "Vorastra Dark Fleet", which obviously is not there anymore. Now i am not sure, whether this is on purpose, as indirectly the Titan can still be considered to be the Fleet Beacon, even though the mechanic now works bit different, but i suppose, more likely this was overlooked or left to be fixed in the other updates.
