Put it this way. Grab about 10 phase gates and then grab an instantaneous fleet of about 1600 pop. Enemy fleet kills that within about 10 minutes (hypothetically), their fleet is crippled, and then instantly bring in another fleet of 1600 pop. Rinse and repeat until enemy is dead. Currently, it's quite broken.
Obviously its a bug, it should cost money. But the whole process, as you describe, i

But perhaps its relative weakness is there to balance out the sheer power of the Maw. Really, the other Titans have some great AoE abilities and kill fleet smaller ships easily - like Eradica with its Chastic Burs

Wanted to fill it in myself, but making a ladder of the capships, which one is the strongest one, etc? That is too much, as sometimes its comparing apples with oranges.

Just played around with MicroPhaseJump and Maw combo, and god, its so much fun. Some people said the Maw is bugged somehow, but for me, it worked brilliantly everytime. The AI put 26k of bounty on my head and i decided to harass pirate fleet (quite a lot of ships) with the Titan at the Star, one phase jump away from the planet, they targeted. I MPJed toward them, activated Maw....and killed them all! Wow, just wow! Frankly, i do not think the Titan needs any buffs bar the Phase

Ok, so i played some more and while its not 100percent guaranteed, tha the game would crash in that battle i talked about, it crashed, as i attacked very next planet. So i downgraded ship/structure bump and extra from highest to high, and did not help. Only when i downgraded the same settings to medium, the game seemed to be stable even under circumstances, where previously would most likely crash. Not very happy about that.
Seems to me, whatever you summon in this situation isn't going to distract the player from killing the titan. If someone gets the titan down to 'critical' health (especially as low as 1000 as Volt said), they're going to commit to finishing the job. In most cases, this would probably just end up being a weaker sacrificial ability like the ART's ultimate which nobody seems to like much as-is.
Well, unli
I disagree that this would help much. First off, it removes the titan's ability to create phase nodes. Also, if you happened to summon carriers, they wouldn't have enough time to generate their SC before the titan would be in a critical condition. Also, just a number change, at 1000 hull, the Vorastra is doomed. There's no way a VL is surviving if it hits 1k hull.
Obviously, the "Spawn P

I am talking about the passive ability of Vasari Loyalist Titan, which was ultimately replaced by the "Dark Fleet Beacon"/"Spawn Phase Stabiliser" combo. Those, who messed with Vasari in the pre-0.96 version of the game should know, what i am talking about. Now going by those threads, dedicated to VLT, lot of people seem to think, that Vorastra Titan is underpowered. Apparently it gets beaten even by the Coronata, which was up until now considered to be the weakest of the lot. Persona

He can colonize it, its the same dead asteroid as the others in the game. If you colonised it yourself, you could strip it for resources again, and this time, nothing would be left for colonisation anymore, just asteroid belt.

They decide blowing up planets is fine since they are all going to be devoured anyways. They start eating everything. Eventually they run into some odd looking race. Who cares, eat their planets. The odd race begins to run from some madness that just wants to eat their planets. They flee for ages until that generation dies off, with the current

Yes, the game crashes on me, sometimes its the out of blue without any reason crash, with that C++ error, with nothing basically happening on the screen. But it crashes lot of time right into desktop, and the common denominator in such situation are major battles happening. The game becomes choppy and as i zoom in and out - BANG - i am on desktop. Yesterday this happened to me again, was attacking enemy Advent starbase with my Vasari fleet - Titan, five capitals and about 40 smaller s

In rush situation VL wins with a certain ship combination which is uncounterable and thrashes corvettes, mid game it is able to carry out surgical attacks resulting in enemy planets being destroyed (for money) and later on it might go carriers/cruisers for added punch, whilst still b

Vasari Loyalists are fine, they perhaps require small buff to their Titan (maybe not), but other than that, they can have very strong economy, with right amount of phase gates, which can you spawn anywhere, they can replenish their forces pretty quickly, thanks to their Titan = capital planet they can be very difficult to finish off (at least on paper) and overall, they are very, very fun to play. The game is still in beta, so its bound to be unbalanced, but people tend to go bit over
Ok seriously...I love starcraft 2 and I love Sins. Right now Im at an inner conflict with myself on whether I should spend my free time playing Starcraft 2 or Sins because Starcraft is made for the purpose to be balanced and fair. From what I have been reading from all the posts on rebellion so far the game leaves much to be desired compared to starcraft. I mean I do get tired of the fast-paced build stuff faster than your opponent crap that the game re

Spawn Phase Stabiliser should create a phase gate structure in a gravity well, which Titan occupies the moment you press the button. If you want to move it to another planet, which has phase gate as well, yes it should take direct route, like between any 2 other gravwells containing phase stabilisers.

I was under impression, we are talking more the multiplayer related side of things anyway. Since neither game is advertised as a sequel, I fail to see why that's relevant whatsoever to the discussion. Disregarding the campaign is silly, since it's huge with really high production values, a

I could agree perhaps with the need for 2x as capships as currently to accomodate all the military and civilian labs. But each level separate research - that would be too much IMHO. We do not need to make the whole mobility thing unviable. I would love the Vorastra to be buffed, as its my fav unit currently, but if i had to choose between buffed Titan / not nerfed these exclusive techs, in order to achieve balance, i would choose the weaker Titan/stronger techs combo, because those techs are

Starcraft 2 was a decent successor to the regretful masterpiece that sc1+Bw was. The style , the gameplay/mechanics were specifically kept similar to SC1 even if it turned out to be enough noob-friendly , nevertheless it's still "easy to learn difficult to master" Starcraft 2 has an a

In that screenshot, look at the Revelation and the carrier and then look at the Coronata. The purplish metallic seems out of place compared to the clean white appearance of the older ships IMO. EDIT: This could just simply indicate that the races are evolving their designs I gues
