Just to add, yesterday i played for 3-4 hours with 3 AIs and had only one c++ crash, but none of those sudden straight to desktop ones... granted, i probably did not fight any huge battle as game before, but aside of that, i played with non maskable AA instead of 2XAA and i am under impression, it may be down to that. Well, perhaps AA was just the tipping point, where the graphics is too heavy for my gpu, but then again, perhaps its the AA main culprit here, causing those crashes. Do not know

Thanks for the kind words. Obviously, i like the vasa loyalists the most, and i dont really want them to be nerfed, but if they are indeed Op, something needs to be done, but in a sensible way, which wont make their mobility completely unviable. Oh, typinf from iphone in bus on a bumpy road is pain
Vasari Loyalists are fine, no need to overreact. Ofc, they might need some nerfs (and their Titan some buffs), but suggesting stripping of the planet to be doable only after an hour or so of game time, is drfinitely going over the top. Personally, i can see: - Strip to the core moved to tier 8 - stripping process take 3-5 minutes - removed the second level of the shipboard lab, so you always need at least 8 capships to have all the research tiers covered,
I think you should add Dark Fleet Beacon research to the Vasari Loyalists, although its basically just improved Returning Armada, its still new and unique to the faction.

The way it instagibs frigates and cruisers is unreliable, it should instagib any ships it manages to pull. Edit: Notice how during the first few waves it kills the ships but not for the full duration. Also notice the corvettes that were pulled in and not destroyed

As far as I'm concerned, anything that makes 'click to instantly ravage target fleet' abilities harder to use is welcome in my book. I wonder, whether they alongside rebellion, sins of dark age, etc... work on iron engine 2.0
I agree, perfect alignment should not be required with slow moving Titans. It breaks the ability.
On other hand, it may be the only way to balance the ability, without nerfing it. But its true, it may be a pain to use against human opponent, who pays attention, because he may move around his frigate/cruisers constantly preventing you activating the ability at all, and even microjump maybe not much use to you in such case. <
Working as intended. When you lose the required number of labs for a tech/building/ship, you no longer benefit from the tech (or can no longer build the related building/ship). Being able to jump your starbases without the required number of labs is I believe a bug.
This sounds reasonable - but there can be issues with that. Like when you play Vasari Loyalists, research aferementioned Dark Fleet Beac

Naturally, I want to assume your graphics cards because I have an AMD HD 7870. Yet again, I turned anti-aliasing to its minimum level (not off) turned bloom off and reduced exhaust trails to nothing and ship bump to medium. ODDLY ENOUGH AS WELL! My previous video card, a GeForce GTX 470, caused my game to lagg horribly too. The AI and I duke
OK, i installed FRAPS today, not sure, how much can i believe the framerates it shows, but it seems to be working, i mean, it shows lower numbers, whet it gets choppy, so... i fired up my save, where its just me and my Vasari Rebel AI ally + pirates still alive at the end of the game, with enemy AIs wiped out completely, both me and him with almost full fleets... at 1920x1200, highest settings for both structures and ships and their extra stuff, both bump at medium, shadows at

Seriously, i just tried it as Vasari Loyalists against Advent Rebels and TEC Loyalists on Centrifuge and it was a no go. I have beaten even 3 AIs on bigger maps before, but on a small map, it seems far more difficult, because i am not given time nor space to develop. I have no problem to concentrate myself on constructing ships early, instead of usual colonisation thing, but when they attack me on 2 fronts simultaneously - both with bigger fleets than i have, + put bounty on my head, i simply
I was actually disappointed with the "Unyielding Will" visual representation, i expected it to look like in the trailer, when Eradica is hit by Coronata first time, you know blueish, semi-visible with that hexagon pattern... instead, it looks fairly shit.

If you talk about Vorastra Dark Fleet ability, i mean the Titans internal fleet beacon, which got replaced by Spawn Phase Stabiliser, they wont do this, cause you could not choose that way, what type of units you wish to summon - as there was simply not enough buttons on Titans UI. That is jow i see it. Now you just spawn the structure and there is lot of empty buttons for thar Dark Combat Fleet, Dark Capital Ship, etc... additionally, you can use that structure to withdraw your Titan to some
I do think its graphics related issue, as lowering the details seems to improve the situation and prevent the crashes for me. I think, since i put the bump to normal, i have not a single crash in battles like before (it still would C++ error crashed occasionaly, but this seems totally random). It can still become fairly choppy. What worries me, is that there seem to be people with lesser HW configurations, playing on about the same settings or even better and having their game quite s
