Heh, you gotta love how people are outraged about one guy, who asked simple question. As if him asking had any influence on development. If the devs disagree, they simply wont do it, no matter what. No harm done. BTW despite TEC being the only "finished faction", you can actually finish the game for Vasari Loyalists. There might be some placeholder graphics, their abilities may be unfinished and imbalanced at the moment. but its not like the game crashes the moment you start the game

Titan could use higher res texture though. Given their size and all that. I wonder though whether we will see some minor graphical differences in models/textures of at least some of the units/structures, which are shared between the subfactions. I recall this was part of the original media statement.
Yeah, jamming frequencies like Vorlons on Babylon 5, when they attacked planets with their planetkiller, I like it. Could use it when attacking a world with my (hopefully) planet-eating titan [e digicons]:D[/e] Not sure, if it was not overpowered or simply annoying game feature, even though the basic idea is cool.
I have a suggestion, make it possible to disable Titans in the game/map setup options. Not sure exactly how one could go about doing this, but it would allow for people to pick between a more "typical" Diplomacy/Entrenchment style game and a faster game with Titans.
I do not think this would work. For Vasari Loyalists their Titan is pretty much shaping their gameplay, everything is built around its ability to be capital world and mobi
I wonder, whether all those small icons representing technologies on the techtree are originally hand-drawn full-size sketches, only to be scaled down for the need of the techtree . If this was true, i would not mind such sketchbook with all these pictures to be part of the collectors edition.
XP is based on what ship is destroyed so increasing the Titans XP requirements will slow how fast the titan lvls. and ur missing the point of the Titans they r supposed to be these giant war machines that waste almost everything in there path. Good idea with those star attribute descriptions, i built 2 Orkulus SBs at a blue star recently and watched them die, as they would not repair themselves. Then i found out it is the star. Actually i have no idea, what are the other star types attributes, does every type come with some kind of downside, so you cant just build ultimate 4 SB combo and be cool with it?
Stop asking and maybe the devs can focus on more coding instead of wasting their time answer these dumb threads.
You make it sound, as if they were somehow obliged to answer every single post to this thread. There was ONE single post from Yarlen, i doubt this put the release date another few weeks back, as he could not "focus on coding".

The problem here is that because of how fast it scales beyond a certian point there's no non-titan counter you can resonablly aquire that can defeat said titan, it's leveled so far that you now need multipule levels of researches beyond the current level to aquire the tools to defeat it conventionolly. number of gigabytes is fairly irrelevant. the number of shader computing units is what makes the GPU strong, and notebook gpus are generally pretty lackluster in this regard (because lot of shaders = lot of Watts needed). There are however few high-end mobile GPUs, which are spec-wise closer to their desktop brethren, maybe you have one in your macbook.
Vorastra Titan can already summon Dark Fleet ships on its position, so there is no need for it to "store" any ships inside like some sort of carrier. Its 3D model also lack some sort of launch bays for this to look graphically adequate. I would like though, if the Titan was somehow part of the planet stripping process, which based on current info, is not planned/going to happen. I would imagine the whole mobile capital base gameplay work like this: you send the titan with flee

All in all, if they were added lets say 2 weeks from now, it would be the basically 5 weeks
Yeah, i think Envoy should have the immunity all the time and to prevent its use as a indestructible scout in such casw it should be made far more expensive. In regard to any "bars" and crapload of those relationship factors, as i said,at best they should affect AIs decision whether to accept your proposal or not, but not preventing you to offer it to them, if you wish to do so. Actually, if there have to be any ratings, i would include some kind of espionage. You will have to

Thanks for the explanation, now i get it. And i do not like it. As you said, i should be in charge of who do i want to ally, not the system with some random values. I understand the reason behind the system though. Against AI it seems only one value is needed, how they like you, but if there was another human player instead of AI, he needs to know, how much you like him. Anyway, i think this whole point system needs to be removed and you should be able to offer AI anything you want at
