Mm, I was basically saying I was fine with them taking it back, simply because they were so borked. I'd be in favour of a few Advent players putting together an Advent 101 for the beta, a lot of people during that day seemed to kind of just... not get that Advent were a different race to the TEC and complained that they seemed weak based on things like raw health values on the Titans.
Yeah, that would
You have the right to complain, Timmy, but for the most part, no reason to. As pretty much a purely Advent focused player (on rare occasions, I play Vasari, never TEC,) I had a lot of fun playing around with the Advent Rebels two days ago, but as GoaFan said earlier, there were a lot of problems, like half of the technology wasn't just "not working properly", it just wasn't working at all. So I just consider tha
@Timmaigh Sorry but your complaints are not reflected in Gormoth01's post, just because someone has a viewpoint that is different than those who don't support yours...does not mean it supports yours. I saw nothing about him complaining about getting ripped off. There just is no room to complain, and this is @everyone. If you don't want updates, disable them. If you want your money back, go

Several of the Advent Rebel techs did nothing, the loyalist tech that makes culture spread from every planet only worked on planets you controlled at the time you researched (and if you took those planet they would sometimes make culture for the other player). My ships were randomly getting buffs ou

If there was no beta for preordering, as far as i am concerned, there would be no money for StarDock now. I would indeed want to buy it, but without giving me a chance to play it right now, there would be no point in preordering it. That is cold, hard truth and i am sure, that i am not the only one, who preord

Yesterday, i watched on the TV Chronicles of Riddick, movie from 2004, for the first time ever. Those, who saw it, know, there was a race called Necromongers? (not sure about their original name), who were trying to convert entire worlds to their beliefs or destroying them. There was even cool moment at the beginning, when some kind of their ships or machines were creating some kind of shockwaves along the surface of some unfortunate planet... ultimately, the movie was IMHO not so great, but

Think of it this way, even if it seems the amount of the new content would be generally not enough for you to buy the game, you will still do it, because you will finance this way future development of proper Sins sequel. If you do not buy it now, there might be now other Sins for you to buy in the future. Cruel, but unfortunately, this kind of game does not sell like Call of Duty.

There is no excuse for being ignorant of what it means to be playing a game in Beta. It's not finished, it is going to be broken and it is not up exclusively for your entertainment. If you are playing this Beta (any Beta) just to play it and entertain yoursel

And see the connection it have with grand oldies like Master of Orion and more recent Space Empires? Because I think that it's there Sins have it's roots and if you want to get into it as a new player that is a good starting point. If you have played them or something similar that is. So IMHO as strange as it sounds I think referring to TBS (Turn based

But it does handle differently from most cameras, just need to give it some time to grow on you. Quoting Timmaigh, reply 2When it comes to fun, with Sins it was never about combat. In classic RTS games you just try to endure boring opening build-up phase to get your armies going, because the combat

You need to stop looking at the game as another CnC, DoW or even Homeworld, because its nothing like those games. Sins is a grand strategy game first and foremost. This is why you need to be zoomed out most of the times, this is why the battles are slower than in the classic Dune 2 clones. Granted, playing with 2D icons takes away bit of the charm, but hey, instead of fighting some random battle you actually build empires and bomb enemy homeworlds from orbit to stone-age. This is the very def
