I agree. Being hard to master and having a steep learning curve are not the same thing. I don't really thing online shooters are comparable. They require only one thing: practice. Practice your aim and the map. On pubs (important addition) the people that played the longest usually were the best, there was no real skill required (only if you went pro). In games like Demigod however you need to learn the game; how do you counter each demigod the best? What do spell animations look

I agree that both the current effect is 'wrong' and busdude's way is 'wrong' too, as neither does what the tooltip says. To be fair, I can't work out what the tooltip says at all. They need to re-evaluate what they want the item to do, code it so it does just that, and adjust the tooltip to clearly describe it. Even if it works as intended, they still need to clearify the tooltip.

Nice offer on the Witcher, but I think I'm still gonna skip it for now. By the way IMO the thumbnails are very unclear as to which game they actually offer. I agree. Buying a good system now and upgrade it in a year or 2 will give him the performance he needs without ever having to spend the huge amount of money. A RAM or videocard upgrade isn't too hard to do, I'm sure he can find a friend or collegue that doesn't mind spending an hour on that.
