I figured out the culprit. If you let your curser stay still, the game runs brilliantly. If you start moving your cursor around the screen, the game stutters like crazy until you stop moving it. The cursor icon flashes when you move it, almost like it's trying to find or read a different window behind the Demigod client, even though there isn't anything there. Very curious, but at least I know what's causing it now.
I am having the exact same issue. Game runs just horribly. Constant stuttering and lag. I've tried the above fixes and still no luck.

I hadn't died once until I started TRYING to get somewhere near their citadel to kill structures by myself. I was 8 and 1 and for the most part even on levels with the CPU in the beginning, and then they all had 2-3 artifacts. 89 combined team deaths, really? That's basically someone on my team dying twice every minute for the entire match.

By level 12 if you haven't won / are seriously winning, the entire other team of DGs have artifacts and will be level 20 before the rest of your team is even 10. I just played a Nightmare tourny as Reg, and was doing pretty well..soon as I know it

I'd like to add that I think a change to this DGs upfront damage needs to be made. I think changing the damage so that it's lower, but increasing the de-buff / buffing action of other abilities would help him stand out as a unique DG. I'll rework some of his skills tonight.

AoE seige ability seems really OP, especialyl at low levels.

Her spells do a very good amount of damage, not too little as mentioned by Reaver. You have to understand that both of her spike abilities are AoE, not single
When the gf is home, I'm forced to hook up our POS router, and am unable to play any sort of online game. Thus I resort to playing single player DG. I'm currently working on winning all the tournys on nightmare mode, and while it's frustrating and rather dumb at times, it keeps me occupied. However, while I can deal with the Easy Difficulty AI that is put on your team when you're facing the Nightmare AI, it's sometimes just ridiculous. [IMG]http://i240.photobucket.com/a
