if your ping is the more players the more upload speed you need if you are proxied to anyone there is a problem with pings hitting 800ms, might as well leave the game or end up with a massive headache

Towers don't suck, but playing as a tower rook is boring as hell. I use a very similar build to the OP. I have played as all demigods/builds, and slam rook is the most fun build by far. Going in 1v2 and letting off a perfect slam to nail a double smite is priceless. I tested it out myself, even if you quit at 2:59 game time, so that it reads 2:59 on the end game screen, the game is counted as ranked. For a game to be counted as unranked, I recommend the entire team pressing CONCEDE (not end game) before 1 minute of in game time.
We all know that HP > all Does anyone know what would be better out of armor vs dps? Say Scalemail vs Gauntlets of Brutality, both 400g. Which comes out on top for performance.
Ice TB makes a pretty fun autoattack character. Take Mards Hammer, Gauntlets of Brutality, Slayer Wraps and Mageslayer for starters. Ashkandor later on. Don't forget to keep changing forms for the bonus dmg. Build is max rain of ice, max permafrost, 1 point in deep freeze, 1 point in ice nova, max stats. Not recommended for a serious game :)

UB is usually the only demigod I ever see that is able to kill a player whilst at the health crystal. It's pretty much impossible for all other demigods.
the dps items are not as effective as hp items, especially when you take armor into account. e.g. +25dmg on gauntlets of brutality vs +500hp and +5hp regen 20 hits needed to negate hp, not even counting hp regen or armor blood of the fallen 800hp +5regen vs mards hammer 40dmg +5%atk speed taking armor into account, you have to hit him over 20 times to negate his health It would appear that all the dps items need a buff to be more in line wi

Did anyone play Age of Wonders? I watched a short vid of Elemental and it looked kind of familiar... Does it play anything like Age of Wonders? I kinda liked that game, the graphics of Elemental are not really my style though.
Whats the point in playing a game without stats. Sure the game is fun for a while, but are you really going to play hundreds of games with only 8 demigods and no stats? I think not. Stats are what keep gamers playing, and without a correctly functioning ladder, people are going to get very bored very fast. Another pain in the ass feature for this game. Enjoy :D
Merging pantheon and skirmish so that there is just one game mode where you can select any demigod, be matched randomly, and there is a ranked ladder would be a good move imo. Then custom games where the host can select if the game is ranked or unranked. So you have 2 multiplayer game modes: ranked automatch and custom games. There are really not enough players to support skirmish + pantheon + custom games.

If you want to enjoy modern PC games you should really start looking at upgrading to a new pc with a dual core cpu and a pci-express video card as the absolute minimum.
I have no idea when the timer starts, but unless your team concedes within the first 30 seconds, the game is likely to be ranked.
Well every single game I have played so far, I have been proxied then. To Australia. At the moment, the game is unplayable for me until this is fixed. One day I hope this game becomes brilliant, but the constant bugs + exploits + problems are just unbelievable for a retail game. I think I am going to take a break from Demigod for a while...

if you play vs AI in a custom game online, you will not get any favor points I believe you only get favor points for completing a game with human players on both sides
Graphics cards which are integrated into motherboards are not designed for playing high end video games. You need to invest in a graphics card for your pc, probably an entire new pc, or just return the game for a refund.
