I'm surprised no body is fired for this. Definitely not a way to run a company. And if you do have problems, you REVERT. I guess we're no longer paying customers which means down servers are not a high priority. But now I would have to think twice about purchasing another stardock online game.
No it was not legit. He desyned the game on purpose. You can tell he was trying to do it during the game. I even asked him to knock it off. I was in that game too. All I know is better to play it safe and avoid this guy if he's on the other side. He's also not very good and an abusive player to his own team mates.
watch out for OmicronLyrea he desyncs on purpose when loosing... did it to me and kiamora today. He's also verbally abusive to his own team mates.
This game never ceases to amaze me in the bugs it contains. I just got a loss from a pantheon game , Even tho i left within 30 seconds of the start of the game. I am getting so sick of these problems.. I find it hard to recommend this game to any friends, even at $20 discount price. I am giving this game one last chance with ver 1.20 then its back to battlefield 2. andy

ah i noticed that too. I had my worst last 2 games yesterday and the day before and those games disappeared.. Very nice!!! was expecting to loose 200 experience points and be ranked in the 35k.. finally a bug in my favor! andy
Ok I tried this again and I can't reproduce this. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. If anyone can reproduce please post. If the dev team can reproduce the problem they can certainly fix it a lot faster.
Actually I believe I think I know how this works. I will probably get flamed like hell for posting this because I believe there are a few people here that are using this to avoid a loss (especially people near the top of the ladder ranks). I really hate to see people start using this but a few people already are so what the hell. If I post this maybe it'll get fixed and the rank gets a complete reset so we really know who are good. I think I know how this happens. This is a lobby bug. You make your connections to your peers in the lobby. You must connect to everyone! Problem is if you leave the lobby your connections could potentially still be connected. Look at a tcpdump and you'll see your packets still flowing to the people in that lobby even if your in another game. Can you imagine what this will do to your bandwidth in the middle of another game? This could definitly cause

If someone posted the specific steps on how this hack works, perhaps it will get fixed faster. Personally I don't know how they do it. If I can reproduce or if the dev team can re-produce, then they can fix it. But following this thread, it seems more like heresay then actual fact. I can say however that I too have had many games crash, all while I have been winning. But my game also crashed once while I was winning.
Network latency and network bandwidth are 2 very different thing that can have profound affect on game play. Its really hard to track these type of problems down because everyones got a different network. Many people have nated networks and have multiple computers. What makes this worst is the stupid auto update on many computers. Firefox does this in the background so you don't know whats going on. Others have macbooks which also does autoupdates.&
well i sure hope they reset the stats. Just doesn't seem fair. I could just host games every nite and quit and I'll get a win. That is nice. Raise my ranks and everything.... We won the game but still reports a loss. I try to play to improve my stats but whats the point with bugs in the system? Look at the link. I won that game by a good amount. Still lost. How does this happen? How come only one guy came out winning the game? Seems like this guy wins every single one of his games. Is there a bug I don't know about? andy
