Sigils are not broken imo. If you can't deal with sigil than thats about as stupid sounding as I can't deal with TP scrolls. Just because everyone uses them doesn't mean its broken. Its a consumeable that cost 500 dollars a use it is balanced imo.
Let's increase gadget damage to 5500 then, I mean everyone can use them.
You know what they need to do to help out 90% of rook players? Disable Structural Transfer unless you have at least 50 wins with Rook.
20% attack speed reduction wouldn't even be noticeable. By level 10 all DGs have at least 113% passive attack speed, and there's plenty of ways to get your attack speed up to reasonable levels even if UB is attacking you. The lowest I would tolerate for max rank would be 30%. Also you need to justify spit's DoT effect at some point in time when you start reducing the damage. How much higher DPS than a burst damage spell should it have to account for it, especially since most people pl
And just for the hell of it, here's a replay of kingslet and me facing the same players: replay I can't wait for the first person to post about how whichever team played better or or worse in whatever match. The idea of proving a strat is better/worse via a single replay is absurd. People make mistakes, have bad days, etc. All a replay shows is the quality
Fine by me, I hate fighting other BotS UBs.
My point in getting PMortem instead of Ooze in BotS UB is HP is very much needed early game (cos of no BotF), losing 40hp/s is a high risk for an early squishy UB. With PMortem u get Crowd control (although worse than ooze) without losing HP.
You're looking at it the wrong way. You're not just losing 40 HP/second, you're reducing enemy attack speed by 30%. If you're being wailed on by minions, creeps, or DGs it's a net HP gain.
Nah, it has something to do with the units dying before 250 damage is done to them, not properly tagging them.
Post Mortem is overkill, I pretty much never take it.
Fair enough... but the real point is, if your team can have a choice of one of LE, UB, Oak or Rook... Rook will probably not be taken.
I choose him constantly over those characters. He's a good anchor and counters UB especially well.
It's monks. If not for monks assassins would be fine.
Yeah, this kind of build is exactly why mist needs a cap on its duration.
That's actually a pretty clever BW change, but it seems like it's too much benefit for a single point. The average ooze/spit UB will just grab one point and call it quits. Honestly I think the reason why UB/EB/Oak are debatably overpowered in the first place is because of abilities like grasp, divine justice, mist, etc. that provide massive benefits for a single point worth of investment.
Yeah, I usually have trouble holding a lane from levels 1-4, but by level 7 I can usually equal any other DG. I usually buy scalemail and banded armor for my starting items.
Swap out the scalemail, it's not that good. Your strength comes from the ability to spit and run over and over and over again at those levels, and the ability to bait in players who expect an easy kill on a low HP UB.
Yeah, Rook can be good, but he can also be a liability when you play with good teams. Any interrupt DG in the hands of a good player and good player 2on1s can cause a problem for Rook, that's why I put him on the B list. Slow speed, low armor and easy interrupts... notice something about the A lists skills?
All countered by the capacity for teammates to teleport to him at any given moment. Rook is a c
BotS is better for mana burst and staying in lane, but if they pressure you really hard you will have trouble with your low health in the beginning.
I disagree. Just get a gadget early since you don't need money for a helm.
Whatever floats your boat, but right now Rook, TB, Oak, Erebus, and Sedna are all viable given the right setup. I've been doing a lot of Oak+TB lately and the burst is amazing and the stacked team speed buffs are ridiculous. Rook crushes TB/Reg/QoT unless he's outnumbered, btw. You'll need to remove him from the list too if you actually get someone good in control of him.
The thing is with Blood and the extra hp it gives me early game I usualy get a lot of kills giving my team the advantage with citadel upgrades and me the advantage with all the armor i need =/. Which happens every single game. Just if I get no kills until like lvl 11 against a BoTS UB there might be a problem, but that has never happened with my build. And i also always have the level advantage on any UB bcuz
You have 1575 extra mana
Actually it's only 1175 mana, since BotS gives +400.
No, Nimoth. 300 less hp and 5 less hps, but 750 more armor. Or unbreakable boots. 200 less hp, 800 mana.
No, I think he gets nimoth. It would likely be a hauberk. Late game if it hits artifacts though it becomes more and more important, as he's force to give up unbreakable boots or something along those lines for a mageslayer, and in a super long game BotF UB really stands no chance since
What would you have in place of that helmet o.0? Haulbruk of Life? It is 200 less hp, and you dont get the bigger mana pool that plenors crown gives you.
The point was that it's not 800 extra HP. Also it's kind of silly to say that Plenor gives a bigger mana pool when the blade gives you an effectively infinite one.
The only thing BoTS does better is in the beginning you can use spit more freely.
Again, I don't really agree with this either. You can only spit fou
For me it's mostly about CoF and fire aura. If you can move in, drop your circle before minions reach you, and then dart away you'll wear them down eventually. I wouldn't anticipate actually holding flags with it, but it works well enough to protect a tower. I don't really get where people get the idea that minion damage peters out and becomes useless though, I seriously doubt people are getting more than 50% mitiation, and minions are still effective around level 7, at which point yo
If you are worryed that maim is too good just compare it to Penitence which comes whith all kinds of other nice stuff.
That is such a stretch. Maim is just as good as diseased claws, and regulus has a 30% snare on MoB and Mines which Oak does not.
Because the other 6 characters can actually engage in AA fights.
So improve his defense and allow him to engage in those fights too. I don't understand why we would intentionally build regulus to just sit on the o
How is Bestial Wrath one of the best abilities in the game? Maybe if you buy a few artifacts it is. Besides that, the only remotely good thing about it is the last level where you can't be snared.
I think you're still looking at it as a normal skill. Beastial Wrath is a time bomb. The other team absolutely cannot afford to let a game drag on into high levels because of it. When you take it between 16-20 it's practically a sure thing you'll have
Huge. Massive. Gamebreaking. Unless, of course, you can dispell it: Oak, Erebus, Sedna. Why? Sigils work like this: I have 1000 hp and 5000 max hp. I sigil, and my max hp increases by 2500. So does my current -> 3500. For simplicity's sake we'll assume that you have 20 hps and there are no monks on the field (or other forms of healing). Let's make the duration of sigils to be 12 seconds. So, ov
I will kill any BoTS UB after level 6 with my extra 800hp.
Where are you getting 800 extra HP from? You had a helmet, I don't get helmets at all.
