Then why does it work for him in ice mode??? It also works for regulus and QoT.

Does this affect pantheon (and skirmish) too, does it solve (some) causes for the 2v1 and dropped during load problems?
Actually, All Father's Ring, Ashkandor, Deathbringer, Duelist's Cuirass, Mage Slayer, Slayer's Wraps, Totem of War, Unmaker, Warlord's Punisher = 638 max damage for Oak at level 8. +100 damage from Soul Power, +20% damage from Unmaker, +13% damage from Penitence, add armor reduction from Ground Spikes and Bite and I'm sure you can get a 1k hit at level 8. Then all Crits proc at the same time for x12 (1,5 x 2 x 4) damage and whoala 12K damage... See, see you suck... you have no ide
Ooze DPS is almost exactly the same as Spit DPS, and people seem to be saying how amazing that is. Everybody relies on their AA for most of their damage. Everybody. I don't know anybody who gets more out of skills (at least lategame) besides TB and a hybrid UB. Maybe hammer slam rook as well, and maybe a specifically built "get to 3 seconds cooldown on pounce" Sedna. But not many people rely on skills more than AAs past level 10. The 40% debuf
Torch Bearer in fire mode doesn't correctly auto-attack while following an opponent. He stops moving once he gets in range and starts the attack animation, which causes the opponent to get out of range and cancels the attack. Since his attack works correctly in ice mode, I'm assuming it's a bug (additionaly no other DG displays this behaivor). Please fix it as it is extremely annoying.
Bah seems like a bug... And I sooo much love the fire TB graphics. Switching to ice has a 2s delay with additional 2s if you want to fire a fire spell again. It's definitely a bug.
Yeah but people still complain :D Actually I don't think any of the above spells is realy cheap. Example, I tought spit is extremely OP early for chasing you out of a lane and giving UB such an advantage that it was impossible to contend. Seems I just needed to learn to work against it... pretty much like with everything else.
Is it just me or is his auto-attack while following an enemy DG broken with TB. No matter how much speed I stack he moves close enough to the oponent dg and stops moving while going into attack animation. Then the enemy DG gets out of range and he interupts his attack and starts chasing again. I've mostly been playing Oak and never experienced this kind of behaivor.
A slow beast is a dead beast. Not using his utmost gift, extreme speed is sin. Ooze dps by itself is not gonna do much. And if you're not facing a demigod that relies on his autoattack for most of his damage (aka Oak), the 40% debuff will not do much good either. No sane of the so called squishy demigods will stand still on an incoming beast. And if you lack extreme speed, you'll be down on 1/2 of your extreme health before you even engage. Exactly the demigod
all demigods require a low amount of skill imo.
Clicking to join a game and pick a demigod requires low amount of skill. Doing anything significant after that point, probably not quite so. P.S. I'm sure if you work on your skill you will greatly improve your stats ;)
Any DG can use HoL and if you don't know how and when to get away from battle you don't know how to play Demigod. So step away and heal, and be back into battle within seconds. Works for pretty much any DG with HoL. Don't confuse Oak's strenghts and overlook his weaknesses based on a popular, possibly in need of rebalancing item. Oh and btw I just realised that Oak has the second lowest base dps of all demigods at level 20 (no skills included, hence base) Qot = 271 dps Oak = 290 dps Sedna = 291 dps Erebus = 291 dps TB = 292 dps Regulus = 292 dps UB = 302 dps Rook = 327 dps
Oak attack speed and movement speed are actually quite mediocre compared to other DG, better than some, worse than others. He also lacks any direct passive buffs in those areas. Shield is on a pretty long timer. I agree that penitence is a very good interrupt Big problem when starting with Demigod is that players don't realise how one-sided the game can quickly become. The same problem existed in dota. Basically a common scenario is this - a newcomer usua
Penitence does 200-400-600-800 damage with a low/moderate 7s debuff and (imho most important) an interrupt Surge of Faith does 300-450-600 damage with a moderate area buff. They are already some of the lowest damage skills any DG has. All other direct and AOE damage skills do more than these two in the damage department. When I look at these two I already see first and foremost 2 support skills. Heart of Life is very strong on any setup tho

I use to respect the name of GPG and use it as a "reference" when buying new games, this was after playing classics like original dungeon siege. However, from what I can tell GPG has chosen to go down the road where they sell out the name for quick profits. Basically, they take a game concept and get it to the point where it is barely functional, hype it up a bit and ship.&nb

If you want an idealized multiplayer experience you need to either play with friends who have connections and PCs that are well within the minimum requirements or on a LAN. I

Sarcasm, even if it was so, didn't translate too well in those posts. They are too painful subjects to be taken lightly. Frogboy already posted about sales somewhere, if I'm not mistaken the number mentioned was above 100k sales.
How about a working pantheon first (as opposed to the completely broken state it is in now) before we (and they) start even thinking about extending functionality. The only thing that sort-of works at the moment is custom games (and single player skirmish if you consider that a feature). In order to get any sort of working automatching team tournament the player base has to grow substantialy. There are barely enough players now to sustain the current pantheon. In ord
A single demigod fighting in tower cover would be able to fight back 2 DG from destroying that tower early game. Especially a ranged one like Regulus. Just get splash damage on towers to help with creeps and stay in their cover. You will level faster too by not sharing exp with another DG in the lane. Demigods don't have infinite mana and a tower smacking a DG for 200+ with Regulus hitting for 150+ will tear the shield and it's hp really fast. You jus

The angry tone was in response to Frogboy's last 2 posts. Yeah the guy played for 30 hours. So did I yesterday, for 8 hours in a single day. 85% of which was spent trying to get a proper game. So how do we account for that. With him being the official voice here, he cant allow himself to goint into rage responses. Yeah we understand he's frustrated and a lot of the cause is out of his hands. But we are frustrated too and any info from any source is
