Minions are only worthwile early game and as fodder late game. Investing in morale is a waste! Soul Power at 8??? Waiting for more spirits??? That is completely broken and uninformed view on building Oak. Death Ward I + Sould Power I gives +60 damage...damn sure it's worthwile! Getting penitence first is a total waste imho. You're not gonna scare any half decent DG with 200 damage and you will run out of mana after 2 of them. Especially UB - you nib him

Taking a flag causes +15% hp for one side and -15% for the other pretty much simultanously in 99% of the cases. We're friggin only trying to measure these 2 changes to determine the value of locking a flag. There is no 15% advantage gain from taking the flag (though you could make an argument about 15% HP INCREASE!!!). Advantage is a relative term...

Classic Oak in my opinion would be: Raise Dead Ward IV Soul Power I Penitence IV Divine Justice I Shield usually to level III for the dispel Surge Of Faith III 4 points left... Spirits and very strong Auto-attack early supplemented with Penitence for finishing, priests, lots of hp/armor. Later on - Lots of staying power with Divine Justice and Shield. Surge of Faith after level 10, for mass farming and Buffs.
then onc
Yes, the status change is 32%, however at the same time you are still only 15% more powerful than your opponent . You are not 32% more powerful, you are 32% more powerful than the situation you were in before. However, in real terms you are only 15% more powerful than your opponent who is at base. This is just as valid as most of the other damage/HP objects (tower/creeps in the game will not be affected by the change).
That would be only correct if the o
Stardock have already said that they dropped the ball on the connectivity issues, but you shouldn't complain at them for making mistakes (humans have a habit of making them) but rate them on what they did to fix the issues. They didn't have to pull 100 hour weeks and all-nighters but they did and now nearly all of the connectivity issues are fixed.
Not true, pantheon is as broken as ever (both connectivity and abuse issues, all of which should be dealt with).&nbsp

Or that same TB could be having Scalemail, Banded and BoTF instead and could be knowing that Ice Mark gives him +70 damage/15 second buff and not ever have to run from you.
I would never just have Hungarling either, it simply isn't enough. is it better to have Hungarling + Plenor or Hungarling + Vlemish? At what level does Hungarling + Plenor > Hungarling + Vlemish? In the video I actually got Hungarling quite early, I'm guessing that it's a bit better earlier on?
Definitely Hungarling + Plenor, more mana + more regen. At level 20 base regen would be 12,43 + 9 (permafrost) + 18 Hungarling. That would give Plenor >28 mana per se
What about with -15% with Staff of Renewal
Straight 15% increase in both mana used (mps) and dps. Offcourse those are all theoretical maximums, in practice it would be really hard to achieve them, except maybe in a single burst.
Edit: I assume that DPS is including Ring of Fire? Which is hit and miss, what's it like without it? In any case being 17DPS down with freeze/stun/slow.
True about Ring of Fire, but neither will deep freeze

As I'm really interested in this buld and already started all the calculations, let's look into this too :D At base cooldown Frost Nova III - 1250 mana, 15s = 83 mps Rain of Ice IV - 1100 mana, 14s = 78,5 mps Deep Freeze IV - 725 mana, 15s = 48 mps Fireball IV - 540 mana, 7s = 77 mps Total = 287 mps. Level 20 TB per this build, Vlemish + Plenor + Unbreakable (Something like Groffling Warplate, Nimoth Chest Armor, Plenor Battlecrown, Unbreakable

Regarding Hungarling - just because the effect is not anywhere else doesn't mean it all that good (though your aura point stands). But it's still a very very expensive item. -25% cast cost = +25% mana pool and +25% regen (on top of all other regen bonuses). Would you agree that it's worth 3.250 gold? Or rather would you pay 3.250 gold for an item that provides +25% mana and +25-40% mana regen aura. Comparison of bonuses (did this to check it out myself). <span

Additionaly, when you get an item the 15% increase of a stat infers 15% improvent (or advantage). The change of ownership of the flag has 2 events associated with it, 15% decrease & 15% improvement (usualy in a single state change), so they are still wrong! ;) (basically they cannot state the 15% gain without stating the 15% loss that also occured).
"After capping the flag from someone... - I have a 15% advantage - The flag gave me 32% advantage"
Yeah I agree people obvously have problems with gasping relative relations. Though this part of your explanation doesn't help much :D
3. Pantheon / Skirmish quitters. Biggest problem here is where people quit pantheon games before they start. I mean literally quit. The solution I think here is to let people join as groups which is something we're talking to GPG about doing in a future update.
Mixing groups and random teams is the worst thing you can do to Pantheon. I'm fully aware that DG lacks big enough community for solo and multiple team ladders, but mixing them into a single one would make

I see that it is futile to argue with you guys as even when shown factual proof with numbers you still refuse or lack the capacity to understand.
It is perfectly possible for a flag to remain in a neutral state, conferring no advantage. However, under the model where the swing or relative increase counts as a bonus, then you would be argueing that merely changing the flag to neutral would confer you a 15% bonus. It does not, it merely negates your opponents bonus. If it
1.- The 32% gap between the HP pools of players changing the HP flag. 2.- The real advantage of combat that is 15%.
I can't beleive you are still going on about this. The real advantage in combat (against a deimigod that lost the flag) is 32%, same as the hp relation swing on the exchange of the flag ownership. There is (almost) never a sitation where the state of gaining the flag is not simultaneous with the state of losing the flag. Pretty mu
1v1 harassment it might work if you were against a very specific opponent like, oh, maybe fire torchbearer who didn't buy armor?
Does that thing even exist, I mean, what else is there to buy for a fire TB? I don't really pay attention about the timing, but I doubt I'm bellow 4k hp and 40% mitigation by the time 4,5k gold is obtainable in the game... EDIT: just checked, what would be a usual build, at level 10 with 5,45K total gold (1k start + 4,5k farmed) = 4100hp,

Except for the item choice in the video, I agree on the build. I think it may be pretty much the only viable hybrid buid and playstyle. Regarding the items (I haven't played a hybrid build yet, mostly fire but this applies): Anklet is nice, but since pretty much all your combat is range based, you have enough time to position and don't really need all that much speed early. BoTF would provide much more surviviblity as HP is extrem

Minions are a good harasment tool early game, but late game hey are worthless. HP/Armor growth mid-late game makes them completely ignorable and any slot/gold you use for items to buff minnions puts you very much behind Demigods that use that gold/slot to buff self. I might be biased though cause I play fire TB and minions are usually killed faster than can be resummoned.

The thing is I'm sure SD are aware of this problem and they could easily and quickly deal with it. It's dishartening that there is no comment and no action from them. I'm sure most players don't even come to the forum so in their view pantheon is just not functional, period. If you wanna have a good, competitive online game you must deal with all abuses swiftly! In the 3 weeks I've been playing the game I have seen absolutely no improvement in Pantheon (which for m
Yeah damage is a very poor stat to improve unless you are Reg or TB, even then it can be beneficial to prefer Health and Armour over damage.
TB is probably the worst DG in the autoattack department. Only his fire build has any dps buffs, but it's totally broken and wrong to use it in that mode. Ice is pure ranged control... TB has no autoattack synergy whatsoever while being the squishiest DG of them all. I don't see any TB dps build even remot
