To be honest Novaliths are annoying, but I find the Advent weapon more annoying. Its due to my play style to hole up and defend my star system without the real need to have broadcast centers. Just my personal thoughts :-P

Suggestions For Laptop Lag in Sins Rebellion Sins Forums

Anyone have suggestions for minimizing lag on a laptop other than turning the textures down & removing trade ships, so on so forth? I can play on Medium maps just fine but the huge and large maps tend to just lag the crap out of me. 6Gig of Ram, AMD Quad Core Laptop

Since im not a modder I dont know the details of modding, however speaking for us "player only" types I think the frustration you hear is due to the years its taking to finish the mod. That if anything should speak to how excited people are for the mod. I just dont want to find us playing SoSE Rebellion V5 before we ever see this mod.

I wouldnt mind that, since they arent an illusion. The Call To Battle skill im assuming. They need to have the same stats as similar ships imo if they are going to be permanent.

You guys never disappoint. I played this mod for 5 hours last night as the Federation. Unfortunately the dang Borg kept assimilating my fleet. LOVE the mod tho. 1 Comment tho. Are they supposed to be able to assimilate with the shields up? I always remember from the series, that the shields unless overwhelmed kept them out or am I remembering wrong>

Personally, I find the Gould to be a very worthy combat race when played right. I was playing a game for approx 5ish hours the other night as the Gould, finally came in contact with the Ori around hour 3 after they had already wiped out the Wraith and Asgard and to be honest I was more than a match for them with my mass of Ha'tak ships. I wiped out a majority of their fleet in the first few engagements. I feel like the Gould are my favorite race for long games. Str
