The Alliance cap. More expensive one. Cant remember the name.

Super cap question. I build it and it doesnt show up anywhere? Whats up with that. Shows String Not Found in my unit usage.
Any time someone asks that question the unknown release date get's delayed by a month... -.-
And at this rate if we don't ask, SoSE will be a game from the last decade before this is released. They should be flattered that people are even still asking since this thread was started 27 months ago. It looks like a really cool mod.
Any time frame on a release?
Brand new game - $39 ($69 approx if you bought Trinity as well as it was released) Top of the line computer $1500-2000 give or take The joy of realizing that your brand new game made in 2011-2012 can only use 1/4th if not less of your computers capabilities - :-|
you are modding rebellion beta and releasing stuff so people can play your material instead of the beta? Sounds like bullshit to me. I mean, Rebellion isn't yet released and here's a mod already out showing how it should be done. Other modders are testing away, but at least waiting for final release to put their mods out. This is yet another reason for a separate rebellion modding section. &n
Does this mod come with its own intro movies?
Ive seen you ask this on every mod thread. Download the mod and find out. :-)
Gotta say, even with Rebellion out, I still prefer this mod.
I wish the VL were buffed. The Rebels are way easier to play atm, imo hands down.
So it they are going to release sub par expansions, at least polish the game up nice.......and fix that stupid bug!!!!
While I agree with what you've said, I do want to say that I understand bugs and issues atm since it is a Beta Test. I dont hold that against Ironclad.
Nope, but its far more of an expansion than Rebellion based on the campaign alone, the new (even if just a couple) of new units, the adjustments to the game play, maps & usability (IE actually using my computers specs to make the game *gasp* not lag). My internet blows but thats because I live 15 miles outside of town.
That campaign does not make the HotS full sequel either, so i can happily disregard it. I was under impression, we are talking more the multiplayer related side of things anyway.
When I discuss HotS, im referring to the game as a whole. Not as one aspect or the other. Starcraft is just one of those games that no matter how many times you play it, you can always be better....in MY o
Ive played Rebellion quite a bit actually. Ive owned SoSE since 2009 and as stated, I love the game. I just dont feel and probably wont feel that the content was worth the cost. And thats ok. My opinion wont shut down Ironclad or force change on any level.
Quoting Mrkz81, reply 35I can't agree with that..... Do you really want to compare SC franchise to SOASE franchise??? Starcraft 2 was a decent successor to the regretful masterpiece that sc1+Bw was. The style , the gameplay/mechanics were specifically kept similar to SC1 even if it turned out to be enough noob-friendly , nevertheless it's still "easy to learn difficult to master"
Quoting jartigerx, reply 36Rebellions graphics are great, I wont argue that. But 12 new units? A corvette for each race (3) and a titan for each faction (6). And yeah, im comparing it based off of cost. I dont find SC2 all that 'cartoony' and obviously neither do the tons of players who kept the 1998 game popular for the better part of 12 years. Dont get me wrong, Ive played SoSE tons and tons

I dont find SC2 all that 'cartoony' and obviously neither do the tons of players who kept the 1998 game popular for the better part of 12 years. Dont get me wrong, Ive played SoSE tons and tons and tons of hours. I was expecting something more than a handful of ships, no redone meshes on existing ships, no real difference between the factions other
The game base is awesome. The game play is fun. But ZJBD is right. "Hey look its the Rebels!" No actually its the TEC with 2 different Titans, 5 different techs and an annoying ship that with SoSE's limited use of my computers abilities, lags the crap out of me. I really feel that the game deserved a race rebuild (IE: Mesh's, Ship Designs and a more in depth changes). Im no programmer but ive seen the work of the So
Which is ridiculous. Back to Starcraft.
EDIT: The only disapointing bit sofar is that you cant tell subfactions apart from the exterior of ships asside from the obvious titans. But if the game is really made by a 10 man(or woman) team, then I cant blame them. Reskinning almost every ship ingame would be an atrocious amount of work. It's definitely on my do want list though, even if its only capitals, or ships/buildings affected specifically by faction based researches.[/
There was more added to Diplomacy than there was in Rebellion that affected the playability. And by that logic then people have paid $50-60 bucks to buy Diplomacy (with as you say, not much added) & Rebellion which has even less added. And assuming that your join date is the time you downloaded the game, a few of us including myself have had a few years longer to expect more of a true "add-on" than you have. Give it time, and you w
Starcraft Heart of the Swarm. Coming soon.
Its a good game and ive always liked SoSE, however without any significant new content, Id rather have kept my money and just keep playing awesome mods like SoA and SoaGE and spend the 30-40 bucks on the next Starcraft in the works. The Vasari taking forever to be released has not been helpful to people expecting something more than a new big ship and a bit larger fighter aka corvette. The 5-10 new techs are cool, but in all honesty, as a stand alone expansion, this really
My patience is really starting to wear thin. I've played TEC and Advent to death. Bring on the Vasari already. At this rate they're not going to be properly tested by release.
I agree to an extent. They are testing everything to balance it, but adding a big variable at the end when it hasn't been balanced with the rest of the content is kind of cart before the horse kind of stuff
I wouldnt count on Vasari today.
Or, and this is pretty complex. Get 4 Military Tech Centers, research them all at once and build the Titan when you get the money. Even on Unfair its still a slam dunk in my opinion. Justmy2cents
