People have to make sure they have set it up to forward UDP, port forward tests from websites will not be able to verify if this is working properly. To the original poster, it will only show the port up if you have a listener running (e.g the game) but again this is only TCP.
Does is have to be ONLY UDP, as my router offers BOTH and I did not which one, so I opened up both UPD and TCP. I will go back

I used /serverproxyonly today and was able to finally get into a real live game after waiting like 2 min for it to actually load up. BUT that was the ONLY time I was able to get on and play. Every other time I get into the game only to be dropped after like 10 seconds or dropped while the game is loading. "A Player Has Left the Game" is something I hear in my dreams because I hear it so fucki
But to be 100% clear, I've found that in most instances when I see all the other players drop at the same time, it means there is a problem with my connection. They are all most likely still connected to each other and just saw you drop from the game. That's probably the case if you find this happening frequently.
Yes from what I have been able to gather, I AM the ONE who is getting dropped. Which
So I used the /serverproxyonly and it FINALLY WORKED! [e digicons]:D[/e] I was able to play my very first game with real people. UNFORTUNATELY, that was the ONLY game I was able to play. Otherwise I still get in the game, but soon after everyone leaves.
Time off, weed, hookers, hand jobs...hooker weed time hand off job.....time off from weed and hookers....time off from giving hookers weed for hand jobs... Whatever. I don't care. These guys clearly need it.
I did just that. I got the ports forwarded and the program allowed via software. Doubled checked with PFPortCheck and 6100 is open. Funny thing, when I first check the port, it's CLOSED , but when I try again its OPEN . And continues to be OPEN after several other tries. Not sure if that could be a problem.
[e digicons]:'([/e] Updated the game twice. Open my ports. Defraged and cleaned my registry. Update my video card....but alas still not working. I can connect with all the players, get into the lobby, ready up....but as soon as the game loads or right after, every single player leaves. So I assume I AM thePROBLEM?
Is there a list of things to try like port forwarding, updating drivers ,etc that is a detailed full list? I just want a check list to check off while my ticket is at stardock and they work on patches. I'm tech savy, but not a guru by any means. If there is a post with this info, please link it as I have not been able to find it. Thanks in advance
I had the exact same problem. Contact support, they sent me a program to get more info then sent it off to the developer. Not fix as of yet.
The computer drops the other players (or they drop me) and then the AI takes over. This happens a lot regardless of when I get online. Is this a problem on my end or on theirs (other players) ?
Ok let me restate that: Now it's every time I play, I get dropped. I am able to connect with players, get to the lobby, ready up, then when the game loads or a min or two after the Fight begins
Yes, one complaint at a time usually works best. And if that does not work, just ask for your money back. [e digicons][/e]
Seriously? Oh well I guess that makes it a bit more fair than just giving everyone a win or loss, but I would prefer it to just NOT count when I drop out because I want to play a human not the ArtificalUNintelligent comp.
This is the one reason I HATE playing AI's. They have NO intelligence. All they have is just more . More health, more money, more levels, more minions, more damage, more.... This game does not need a tutorial because playing the AI is the TUTORIAL. After a few weeks....boring! And with online connective problems...frustrating! Boring and frustrating are not two qualities I look for in a game.
Regarding the stats or I guess mine specificly, I have only lost one game and played a handful more, but it says I have played many more with several losses. When the game has a fatal error and crashes or when all the other players drop and then the AI takes over, then next I leave, beacuse I dont want to play the AI, do those count as losses? Because if so, that really unprofessonal.
I think I posted in the wrong forum....anyway.... The computer drops the other players (or they drop me) and then the AI takes over. This happens a lot regardless of when I get online. Is this a problem on my end or on theirs (other players) ? I also have had several fatal errors that have caused the game to stop working. I will copy the error down and post it later.
When I play online eventually all the players are dropped and the AI takes them over. This has happened many times. Is this a problem on my end or these? Also have gotten 4 bug reports than ended in the game closing down. I will copy the report next time and post it here as well.
