I think 8-10 DGs is enough as im not that interested in learning 50+ demigods and their different skills and how to counter them. With less of that i think i can think more on strategy, movement and so on. I think thats where real strategy comes to play. Its easier to know your enemy with less DGs to learn, and its easier for a beginner to learn to play.

So you believe that you can prevent someone else from drink driving and crashing into and injuring you?
Thats a pretty good example. Picture this. You are in a car crash and get a whiplash injury (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whiplash_%28medicine%29 yes, wikipedia know well enough what a whiplash injury is). The r

I would rather see public health care as the collectives resposibility to care for its own. Those who say that if you dont have the money youre not trying hard enough well please tell that to the father of three with 2 jobs and a sick wife who has to use all his money to get the right medical treatment for his wife and get the money for necessities (like food). Or even worse the same man who just lost one of his jobs. I am quite sure there are some of these guys out there. &nb

People don't skybox in scrims when playing Source Engine games, you get banned from the server if you do. Doubles are not even close to this kind of situation. I think it is sti

Just read that article and became intrested in this conversation. From sirlins playing to win: "I've talked about how the expert player is not bound by rules of "honor" or "cheapness" and simply plays to maximize his chances of winning" "There is a gray area here I feel I should point out." "Most characters in that game cannot beat Akuma. I don't mean it's a tough match--I mean they cannot ever, ever, ever, ever win. Akuma is "broken"" "Akuma is a boss

If you play competitively i think anything goes but those who play occasionally for fun are in my opinion allowed to ban doubles in their own games if they find them lame, annoying and not fun to play against. Their goal is most often not to climb the ladder (i think) but to have a good time with the game. How can some "pro" here then tell them how they should play the game? Just trying to say that i think that the "not fun" argument is a viable argument if you do not intend to play c
It's a bit of a mess because we had to recreate lobbies a few times - but the relevant info is right at the end. I am having the same problem as the OP - I can get into a lobby with low pings and connections to everyone, and play the game from anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes. I can sometimes complete short games. But I very, very frequently get a disconnect between 5 and 30 minutes into a games - the typical scenario

I once played a 3vs3 on leviathan where it seemed like the opponents bought a lot of armor and damage to their creeps and then upgraded to priests. It was crazy. Couldnt kill more than 2 waves of creeps before my own health had almost disappeared. It really felt stupid because we were really afraid of their creeps in that game. Has anyone else tried out this tactic?
