Relationship problem in Sins Diplomacy Sins Forums

My brother and I are having trouble getting our rating or diplomatic status above 16. It seems to stop right at that benchmark regardless of the measures that we took. Any kind of help would be appreciated. We are currently facing a cruel comp together with locked teams if that helps.

I too have a question about Lan. My older bro and I both have our own versions of sins but he has the goty addition whereas I have the old version. For some reason, we can't seem to play against eachother. The error message said that we don't have the files to play against eachother even though we both have the newest patch. Please help! Thanks.
