I'd hate to bust the author's chops, but she she is plain wrong. When you are trying to prove a point there are some steps you have to follow: Find a foundation for the argument, something that is considered true under any circumstances Find other arguments that can support the foundation Draw the conclusion based on correct arguments Now, as far as steps 2 and 3 are concerned, she did a pretty good job. You can basically find arguments
Hehe...zephyr + holy + advanced research = total pwnage. I finally get to see a DG that both helps and damages ally DGs. Would add very interesting tactics. You would need to know when to heal because sometimes you need your speed more than your health. If you are being chased by an erebus and ooze UB the last thing you want is for some noob Alchemist player to cast holy compound on you. The exact opposite goes if you are about to get snipe spammed. Revitalise soul is risky. On one ha
I like the idea of the demigod, but he his tree is too large, which could be an unfair advantage, because other demigods at most have a little over 30 possible places to put points, but this guy has over 40. I think it would be more fair if you took away one ability on each side or reduced the amount some abilities could level. I dk, just what I thought when I looked at him. But yeah once again cool idea.
The thing is that
Those flags are similar to the totem ideea from warcraft would be nice to finally see something similar in this game. Strike is too much like oak's penitence. Shield the general and Lend a had have silly names (the abilities themselves are very good though). Maybe try something more bad-ass like Phalanx and Blood-Bind. Interesting ideea. Any thoughts on how he would look?
Any suggestions? Should I give up on my "noobs only" approach and just leave noob out of the game title?
Try not saying anything like noobs or pro. Try a XvX EU. That way, it usually means that you will have a least a noob and a pro (or at least a good player) on each team. The bigger the game, the bigger the odds of ballance. Don't be shy about telling people to switch teams for ballance. Although you might give the impre
About the game titles.... There is a BIG difference between how people (including me) look at NO NOOBS and PRO's ONLY. No noobs means you want players who don't suck. This means that you will get everyone from begginer-intermediate to super-ultra-pro. Pro only means you are looking for very good-expert-pro's. Notice the difference? If you check my stats you would probably say OMFG wraid is a total noob, i will kick him from every game i see him in. But you simply can NOT (!!
*if only i knew how to post images here. i click the insert image tab and it comes up with "type URL" wtf am i supposed to do with that?!?! ive got another version of the arachnid id like to post up*
Try and upload it to a picture hosting site. Like photobucket (not sure if I remembered the name correctly). Then copy paste it's url. Not sure if that is how it works, but seems logical, give it a try. Oh, and thanx 4
1. Yeah, 2 seconds does seem too short.....but then again, 3 seconds looks like too much....meet u half way at 2.5 2. Chain lightning is pretty much useless unless used against 3 or more dgs. Oak, Tb and Sedna have much more powerfull burst damage spells. Also, torch bearer's fire nova hits all units in it's area of effect, not just a maximum of five. People would prefer a minion build in a 4 or less player match, hybrid in 6 and lightning build in 8 or 10. And yes, mana cost is very
I think it would be a good item for begginers. Maybe make it very cheap so they can afford it early on. It will clutter the screen at first but you will get used to it I'm sure. It would also help pro's im guessing, knowing when to prep an interrupt or when to cast a silence etc. Me like.
A disco outfit and wig for TB. Also, when he switches to fire mode, a disco ball will appear beneath him. When he stands still he starts to dance around.
4 seems a bit too much. I've made it 3. I think if you would allow him to have too many abilities then he would be too powerfull (imagine if Erebus had an extra 4 skill points).
Hehe, looks tottaly badass. Aditional ideea for passive skills : Web blob: When he will AA a tower, you will have a chance (increased by level) to fill it up with a sticky web. If the tower will fire, the beam will explode in its face, dealing damage. The web lasts for 1/2/3/4 hits. Spider's web: When aa-ing a demigod, there is a chance that he will wrap him in a web, rendering him immobile (he will still be able to attack though) for 3/4/5/6 seconds, with his armor and attack
Don't think erebus is overpowered. Every demigod is weak against some, and will steamroll others. One time I was a hybrid TB. Had rain of ice, fireball, fire/frost nova and deep freeze (didnt get to fire aand ice yet). Went up against a minion erebus for control of the fortitude flag on cataract. Went right up to him, froze him and his minions with nova, then rain of ice, then i deep freezed him (he was still stunned) so he could not bite me (yet). Switched to fire (by that time erebu

A cute puppy dog head with big blue eyes for Unclean Beast. A fairy dress for Oak. A sexy nurse outfit for Sedna. A zorro outfit for Erebus. A sparkling fairy wand instead of rooks hammer.
hmmm.. theres alrdy that sort of stuff, they just havent been seperated from each other. IMO, i think minions in this game have no place.
Oaks and Erebus' minions are actually quite usefull. But sedna's and qot kinda blow chunks... As for class specific items, I'm not too convinced that it would be that good of an ideea. At first I tought it was fantastic but then I started thinking. I am guessing that you woul
Yet another masterpiece by TSA [e digicons]|-)[/e] . What if you put another creep portal right in the center? Or some important flag, making teams fighting for control over that point. I think it will be more "epic" if people mostly fight there, since the waterfall flows through that point. The map is kickass and actually possible to make with the game's engine I think. Love the shape of the map. I can just see regs or TB shooting DGs from those ledges close to the cent
So you got premade-stomped. Shit happens all the time. Listing every possible premade team on a post is not the solution. When the new patch that shows everyone's stats comes, the problem will be partially solved. Untill then, suck it up.
Please, a moment of silence for chema333 ... ... ... ... Ok, now let's party and get drunk cuz another uber noob left, wooo !!! [e digicons][/e]
17. If you try and suicide kill someone when you can clearly see his friends are nearby...n00b (seen this more often than you think) 18. Getting in a Xv1 (x>1) -> (most of the time) noob 19. Attacking towers by meele early on with no creep or ally DG support -> noob 20. Trying to solo when you are a support demi -> (most of the time) noob
All DGs are good against some, and weak against others. It all comes down to what they are good at. Personally, i play full snipe, motb and mines. This works for me. I can support other DGs very good and finish off fleeing enemies, but can also kite them with range upgrades. Reg is squishy by nature and is not meant to go head on against a tanking DG like rook (or in this case, sedna). His purpose is to harass and weaken untill the big boys come in. I always had my ass hande
It's more about preference. But as I said, most of the issues the house rules were made for have been fixed by this new patch so unless someone can come up with some other exploits, there is no point to argue here.
How exactly would you define "that point"?Seriously? It's when the other team stops having fun. They quit when they don't want to play because it's not a job, it's a video game.
Look, if people want to play casually and quit before the game ends that is fine by me, I sometimes do it myself. Those are casual games for people who just want to have fun without over-complicating themselves with rules and stuff. The
Why not just enjoy the process of getting to that point. Demanding that people continue to play a game past a point where they're having fun seems silly to me.
How exactly would you define "that point"? When do you decide it's over? I once had a comback when our enemies were higher level war rank and gold, they took out all our front towers, kept flag locking our portals hitting our citadel with giants (we only
