Well as an update (I'm the original poster) I actually managed to beat hard mode last night, with a little help of the posts here. My biggest improvement was however was swapping Sedna for Regulus. By picking up the 15% speed boost favor item, and picking up the 10% speed boost boots as my first purchased item, I was able to quickly maneuver myself around the maps to keep on top of the flags, and to harass the opposing demigods. Regulus just obviously suits my playst

Uhh, this may answer a question I have - How do I select a random character? When I go to the demigod selection (single player) I can't see anywhere to have one picked randomly.

How are you upgrading yourself? Health stacking, especially as Sedna vs AI, can make you an unstoppable force. Usually the first upgrades I get are the bonus armor and +25 weapon damage. After that the next upgrade I try and go for is something to improve my mana flow, since I'm frequently healing myself while out in the front lines. The latest patch (2 days ago) should have corrected the issue with favor items not being saved. It did for me anyway.

Unless I'm mistaken, when you play a tournament your computer allies have their difficulty set to medium. That means that over the course of a game the three computer demigods are going to level up faster, and earn more gold than your two buddies. Everytime I try the same thing happens. I usually go Sedna, since with her heals you can really maximise the time spent out in the front lines, therefore increasing your initial experience and gold gains. The game

I purchased this game yesterday, and it is patched to version 1.1 I was under the impression that when you purchase a favor item then you can select it in further games for free. However that doesn't seem to happen. This is an example of what happens for me: I have 200 favor points, and I purchase a favor item for 150 favor points (leaving 50 points). At the end of the game I get awarded 75 points. I then start a new game, and when I do I have 125
