Take a look at how he names his games. His games are usually called "be good" or "only good players". It seems to work.

Thank you guys, that explains the speed actually, forgot the bonus on the boots.
Edit: removed it
The OP has reached the same conclusion we have. We're are looking at this.
Great. As a quick-fix maybe give us the option to play 1v4 (no allied computers). That would make it less frustrating.
I don't play tournaments but for me Nightmare Ai too is really easy for skirmish matches.
If you want to have it like in tournament, you have to set your allies to easy and enemies to nightmare.
Quoting Twinsen, reply 1It seems like it's not BotF you dislike but hp and hp-regen items? The Combination. I mean BotF amplifies the hp stacking. You ahve no chance as a 2,2k life Erebus vs one with 4,5k.
hmm, BotF would not grant you 2.3k HP
I can understand your frustration. I would and have never ever join a "Pro game", i never think I would ever get to that level. What is a pro anyway in the demigod community?
It seems like it's not BotF you dislike but hp and hp-regen items?
When playing nightmare sometimes (not always even if they're all lvl 20) one enemy usually at level 10 gets some items that makes them run extremly fast, much faster than anything else in the game (not just wand-duration) and can go into our base and tank 4 demigods (with crap items) and all towers without losing more than max 10% health. I the AI had been any good he/her would kill the citadel with this set, but it doesn't. I guess there is some combination of artifacts, but what can it be?
Reinforcements are consistent for both sides. Minions are exclusive to generals. If minions gave xp and gold, the team with the most generals would be at an innate disadvantage. An Erebus or Oak planting his flag would be a boost to the opposing team, as it's difficult to micro your new minions the instant they spawn in order to prevent them from dying. I also feel minions are perfectly viable as cannon fodder or soakers, and making
To clarify before this escalates. It was about the context. Stacked told you he didn't think you played enough games, 3. You said you played more, just not pantheon. It sounded like you only played 3 pantheon, but 300 custom games or so. I pointed out that you played 7. Not to invalidate your opinion, not to bash, but if stacked didn't think 3 was enough, 7 wouldn't either. I don't say I'm on stacked side here, but he has a point. One way for you to please stacked would be to claim th
cant argue with you on that i know its a mostly MP game however ive played more than 3 games i just dont do pantheon very often
true, you have played 7
I just had the worst MP experience of my life. As in would rather be playing counterstrike with a bunch of 14 y/o using hax. I tried pantheon for the first time in forever and it sucked @ss. The matchmaking was totally hosed. Ended up with two guys playing first game ever against seasoned vets. The noobs bailed on me so I got two ai. It was terrible! I love this game and that experience made me almost not want to play. Imagine if it was my first or second time! Ho
Twinsen, just ignore the trolls. To address the issue of drops, I personally like them, but I can understand the point about it being random (hp pot or mana scroll). I suppose that one way to fix this would be to make it always be an hp pot (an that preserves Erebus' ability), what do you think of that? Would that solve the issue while not making too many other issues?
thank you. Well, I'm not for or against
its okay whiners will always find something to whine about
I don't understand this attitude. Does it make you feel smart or superioir in some way? This is not whine. I am curious about the design rationale behind this implementation. I have tried to contribute here, but this stops now. I'm so fed up with this attitude.
I think ZehDon ment when they drop scrolls?
Thus, as its said in this thread before, my speculation would be Demigods drop potions to keep people in the fight rather than having to run back to the crystal to heal up. You won a fight and you need to go back to heal? Ugh.
If that is the case, why don't give the killing team the bonus. It seems like some here just wants to side-track the discussion. I didn't start this to stop reinforcing kills or anything like that.
I have reservations about them myself. It becomes luck based whether you get the potion you can benefit the most from, and it contributes to that downward spiral effect for when you start losing. I'm not calling it unbalanced as it's obviously the same for both sides, but fun and frustration are things to consider as well.
I fully agree about the balance issue. It has nothing to do with balance. Equal for all doesn't mean it's
I think a lot of good discussions have emerged here. Some people tend to think that it's a bonus for killing, but the matter is that it takes a second of so for the drop to appear. In most fights, waiting around for that time just go grab the potion can get you killed, and at the same time, it gives ranged DG time to close in. So the idea that it is a reward for melee DG is just not valid, and it is not necesarily a bonus for a kill since everyone can grab it, not just in your team but anyone
I wonder about the design decision to make deaths spawn potions. I don't understand why it's there, and I can't find a single reason for it to be that way. Can anyone explain to me why the are there (excpet to work with a side-effect of one of EB's skills). thanks
Another approach to this (from other team-pvp-games) is to look at the current spamming of abilities. Right now, direct-damage, slow and stun are plenty, and with cooldown so low, one or two mana-items can make you use them as soon as the cooldown allows you. This makes inventory a split between basically hp-items (2-3; unbreakable, hauberk anyone?) and mana-item (1-2, faceguard, battlecrown anyone?). You can get speed from wand, and not lose a precious inventory-slot. This is basical
I think you are wrong, but right. I'll explain. Doubles is not a problem, if for anyone it's a problem for the team with doubles in it. But as I said, I also think you are right. If I pick random I'd ranther get a unique demigod on my team, that's why i think your solution is good, but for all the wrong reasons.
It's the new approach to desync.
