I'd sure like to hear specific strategies / tactics that allow you or others to have an easy time beating the enemy on hard / nightmare. Unless you are using some exploit. I have browsed the forum on similar topics, and so far what I've read has only had posters who either find it impossible, or find it rediculously easy even on nightmare. No specific tactics are ever given. Which leads me to believe that those who find it easy know some AI exploi
Huh? I've not played much QoT, but I have played some Rook and against the AI I can easily farm kills. In fact, against the AI you can actually kill something with Hammer Slam.
sure, the problem is not that you won't get kills. You'll probably get 15 kills or something, the problem is that if you play a EB, UB or reg for example, you'll easily double that. It's like when you play the tournament singleplayer on nightmare, and it
being able to snipe from idiotic range it means he can be unstoppable grinding towers unnoticed (due to his range upgrade) AND still help his team to combat enemy DGs i would nerf his snipe range and add tower-range as a citadel upgrade but im no developer flame away, but i know imba when i see it
If Regulus is overpowered it is definitely not from snipe. I have been fortunate to play with people in Skirmish lately, I'm very happy about that, but sometimes it's a 5v5 with 2 humans. If you get into such a game with a rook or qot, you have lost. As a damage dealer you easily can get around 40 kills. Not so with Rook. It turnes into who can kill the stupid AI the most times, and even if that is supposed to be the game, all DG are not equal. I wish AI were banned from Skirmish, or am I supposed to pick a demigod that can get loads of kills in

So annoyed right now. The two last games good games was two long close interesting games, and both ended with a crash without error report for me. I'm about to give up. It is very frustrating playing for 20 minutes in a close good game, and then crash. The game will be spoiled for everyone i those games. I'm sad

I find myself playing less and less, and that is not because imbalance of gameplay, the game is basically fine. The number one problem is match-making. You need to be able to find and play games. 2000 players playing customs is a sign that something is seriously wrong. Often you see tens of games with 50 players waiting to start a game and because the bad matchmaking in Skirmish, who can blame them. If you have to remove stats from custom games, fine, adding l

I don't play QoT so I can't comment on her, but I don't see this division you talk about. Am I supposed to max heal and buy upgrades if I play Sedna, or what do you mean with "support DGs? If I play a farmer like TB I can get the upgrades much more easy.

Yes, With around 2000 people online at a given moment, match-making is hard as of now, but to me, none of those 2000 playing skirmish says something about how messed up the situation is. Many people like me (random casual players) are now forced to play customs against teams. I'm not saying teams are automatically better, but they have practically eliminated the risk of getting a early leaver, rage-quitter, or maniac on their team, which decided more games than anything else. I realiz

@Zygwne, yes sure, but that was not what I was asking for. @ShakeNbake, yes, I don't face that much anymore actually. @Zygwen(2), yes, sadly. I don't get why you would like good stats. I think of stats as the means to make good mathces of players with equal skill. I'd rather play a close game then get owned/own someone. I like this game, but my patience with basic-matchmaking is starting to run out.

This is actually a interesting way to improve the gameplay. When people gang up to get you (push, caplock flags, get towers, whatever) you have to retreat if you are alone, unless you want to gang up yourself. When all the DG on one side gang up to hunt DG together, they can use stuns and slows to hunt then down, and if they get additional money for this, it doesn't seem right. If anything, teaming up should be penalized. No fancy division is needed however, killing blow and assist is
Quoting Colonel_Jessep, reply 10Honestly, I don't understand why most PuGs prefer Pantheon over Skirmish. Do people even play Skirmish? I can sit there for a long while before getting matched against AI. I have never understood why there is even a distinction between the two. It just serves to split the population.
Yes, skirmish is better than pantheon, people leaving makes pantheon even worse. I always
Quoting CallTheVoid, reply 9In yer screenshot... how do you get it to read AI? When an AI is in my games, it always just shows a ping of 0 for the player. It says 0 when a player was replaced by an AI. It says AI when the AI is there from the start.
On that note, it would be a good feature if replaced drops also read AI. Checking ping to find out who left is not very intuitive.
