The full effect I'm talking about isn't so much about weak level 1 towers, weak level 1 slam..... it's the fact that at level 5 the three demigods all have their stun spell. That's the full effect. That's the point everyone is missing. It's the stunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn that's crazy. Everything else is just a bonus. if you're stunned for 5+ seconds at level 5 and all 3 demi gods are hitting you with everything they g

ignore, double post
Read my post, you guys posting after me are arguing over the details. Look at my post and see the big picture. I'll give you a hint it has to do with a word, that starts with G, is tangible, and is also the name of a color, and you can use it to buy stuff.
When is speed ever not worth it. They could make the item 2k, and I would still buy it with every dg. perhaps later than normal. On the most basic level - speed = helps you kill = more money, speed = helps you stay alive = less deaths = less enemy money. And as we all know, money is important in this game. Posiden, it hurts your rook in that you cannot pressure enemy towers as early as you would like to while still having a viable escape plan. Just means you need to play a more conser
Since that's the case, I apologize. In the future, please only put the stardock name on something that will reflect Stardock quality. I was introduced to stardock through sins, that game was amazing in every way, I bought dg expecting the same quality control. It wasn't, but you already knew that and there's no point in trying to beat a dead horse. DG quality control issues have no swayed my love for SD, but if another game comes out in the same fashion as dg, yeah it will prob be my last sd
Yup, mines rock. The only drawback being that they are not mana / cost effective until you have level 3 mines. Which I guess is good considering you put 3 points into something that you cannot use for a while effectively. So you're weaker early game, and mid to late game you get better. Fair trade off.
Oak: Best late game demigod on any map Beast: 2nd strongest late game demigod on any map Auto attack regulus with proper build on Cataract: A monsterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr at late game. It gets to the point where you can crit for 1,200+ dmg in 1 shot, and tank beasts 1v1 and laugh at them. With wand of speed and maim and the straight away corridors of the map, you can chase down enemy demigods and murder them easily. Add a mage slayer and normoths ring for +20% life steal as
Homestar, you know I love you. But poison blood has to be the worst thing to put a point into with erebus. With soooooooooo many great options, poison blood? Do you like killing your teammates? If someone kills an erebus, they know not to drink the potion because there is a chance that it is poison blood. Also, the skills largest benefit comes from you dying.... which as an erebus player you should never do. Sorta like that useless oak reincarnate spell, it's conditional on you dying, which y
any general can do this with the Cloak of Night favor item.
Yes really, If a DG can do something with a standard ability, that only half of the cast (general) can do only when they pick a certain favor item (while erebus can go any favor item) it is an advantage. Zehdon : This has been mentioned before in several dedicated topics. While Erebus has an ability that allows him to perform this,
I played this for the third time last night, so no replays. If I see it again I will post it up. What's ironic is I thought of this strat about a month ago while hammered at a BBQ with my friend who also plays DG. Now I'm seeing it :( it's beastly. I still have 1 idea I can try, but I need to play those guys again. For those who are curious, it was this game vs posidenii, wipuliwo, and orcun_bl http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/97433
You can go for a 3v3 fight (run around as a full team if they do so), or you can just sit way back behind towers whenever you know they're not spread out, and if they still go for someone, tele in when LE batswarms. If you have Oak, you should be able to win 3v3 easily; interrupt Mass Charm, and don't waste shield early.
What you are saying is right.... except this starts at level 5. in full effect
Cataract: If you lose someone off of the start... A competent opponent will destroy one of your two main defensive towers. Either you fight 2v2 at HP flag..... mana flag tower is gone because no one is there to protect it. Or you split up. 1 guy at each flag. that guy is gonna have to fight 2v1, and depending on heros, thats a tower either way. If enemy has a rook, he can drop a tower by himself while taking 0 damage. If en
How come no one in the top 20 has replied to this post? I thought that a "top player" would want competition. Or is it that "top players" want to bash on pugs? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Sigil of vitality can be cast while chasing someone down, and your DG will continue moving without a hiccup. If you chase someone with Wand Of Speed, turn it on, your DG will stand in place until you remind it to move again, add to that the lag and you gave your opponent a 1-2 second head start even though if you didn't click on the item, you would have been following / hitting the enemy the whole time. Also, why do we need to hit wand of speed 10
Stardock / GPG was never known for attention to detail. Hence errors / bugs and no match making system for an online only game :( (if you count single player as a game, you're kidding me right?)
Stardock....... Beta........ ewwwwwwwwwwwwww Going by DG track record, I'll wait for version 7.15.227.9 to be released and run that. Bugs will be worked out by then.
tb is too squishy. Not to mention erebus / beast murder that character like woahhhh. bite / spit / ooze / charm / grasp... yeah.. you guys are missing the main threat. it's not rook, or towers its the combo of towers, shoulder towers, boulder (stun), grasp (stun), mass charm (stun), Bite (slow), ooze (slow), hammer (slow). Thats the issue. You can't run, because you get caught by boulder, or bat swarm into range, then mass charm. You can't
Seriously though, what's repulsion? Is it similar to meeting a girl at the club and telling her how you're 1337 at demi god and other fantasy rpg computer video games? That kinda repulsion?
Yeah i dont want to say what my next team strat will be because i dont want it countered. but it will involve sedna. Next time i play them ill let you know.
Cap flags on the other side and center forcing them to seperate or fall behind in war rank. Attack in mass when they are alone. Fight behind the towers and hope they get aggressive (read: cocky) and one strays into the towers where you can stun and tele-gank them.
Problem is they are never alone. Rook has amulet of TP favor. and he drops 1 tower in each lane, so even if he doesn't cap a flag, his allies
The problem is, this becomes a serious threat at level 5, which is still early game. Rook at level 5 has tower power, archer and laser turrets, boulder, slam Ereb at level 5 has: bite 2, charm 2, bat swarm Beast at level 5 has: grasp - ooze / spit etc. I played 3x with an oak ally. He will shield whoever is focus fired on first, but when erebus does bat swarm into charm, they change targets to the next lowest HP ally who is caught in stun and doe
thinking about not this weekend, but next weekend. On a saturday. maybe 3-5 pm start time. still not sure. need more word from people
Been trying to figure this out. If you play vs rook, erebus, beast. How they heck can you avoid triple stun on cataract. 1. Boulder gets thrown first, goes down the "bowling alley" of the map. 2. Erebus does bat swarm to close the gap, followed by mass charm 3. Beast walks up, and does foul grasp. 4. While all of this is happening. Once rook throws his boulder, he begins walking up for a slam. 5. If you survive all of that, you are slown down from the b
wow seems u are all knowing (or act like it). Like i said it is the best item to farm creeps
Again, at low level play it is, above that, not so much. If you go amulet of teleport (any dg can have it) you can creep one lane, teleport to the other, and share xp with your ally. You still get more xp than creeping one side alone, and you can use it for other things like ganking any enemy 2v1 / 3v1, saving
