Make locks more expensive. Should be simple enough. At the current price, and my team is doing well, and we have catas. I have 3 locks and 3 tp's.... at all times. Even if I can't use them all, I can drop one for a friend to use. Or.... keep them the same price, and make them different items. 1. 1 item is for capping flags. 2. 1 item is for capping portal flags Now your enemy can only have room for a tp, or a wand of speed, but not both.
So yeah I know what battle.net was like when it launched. and it was fucking awesome. Each to their own mate, i certainly would not have called it awesome. The reason why comebacks don't happen too often is because most people do not understand the basics of the game. If the enemy caps your portal flag.... there's really no point trying to sit back and wait for it to uncap, so you can grab it. A competent team will TP before the lock expires, recap, and repeat. They can do this forever, with nothing you can do about it. Now, you might say "yeah but i can interrupt" which you can. Except I'll fake out to trick you. I'll use
I love how everyone's thought process is fixated on one map alone. On cat... this is an awful idea for the reasons mentioned above.... But consider a map like leviathan, where there are 2 portals per team, and 2 portals at the mid point of either side. Those portals are also in areas that are not being contested, as in battles take place near the damage flag and shop flag. So in this scenario, yes heavens wrath or ice is great because you can farm a lane that no one is sitting in anyway unles
Thanks for making this public information "runs to DG multiplayer to abuse this on everyone he plays"
This might be my favorite error of all. You click to join a game and a window pops up and says "SUCCESS!" but nothing happens, you're still at the game listing screen. Or you try to do whatever.... and you get a success fail. Basically, I laugh my ass off anytime I see this, post up your favorite success fails.

So like..... 4 people? thats not enough. thats not enough for a single 3v3 match.
Ooze. right click. kill guy. talk shit... repeat Why are you trying to work so hard? spit and ooze. i mean wow. thats ambitious. you need 2 hands for that. just go ooze and use your other hand to grab your beer
Online matchmaking for an online only game Ladder that tracks stats properly Ability to play vs random teams where you can't pick and choose your teammates / enemies. Blizzard calls this RT Ranked arranged team ladder. Where pre's play other pre's. Blizzard calls this AT. He's not OP, just easier to play than the others. Go ooze, right click, guy dies, talk shit, repeat. but yeah, if you see ooze, get a wand of speed. run away. see spit? use level 3 sedna heal, erebus mist, oak shield before a spit, or oak shield lvl 3 after spit to be clear of the dmg. It does it's damage over time, so just don't sit there and take it. Organzie your team so players that can counter spit are on the beast side of hte map.... and play
Don't play with scrubs. Look for my post on starting a 3v3 pre league. I'd copy / paste a link but the forum says that it won't let me because I use firefox. Is there anything this developer can't touch that ordinally works on competitors products for years yet they seem to mess it up?

Yes one exception > if both team agree : replay the match.
That was my original idea, but how can you tell if your disc is legit and not forced by someone on the other team? Otherwise some team can win just by disc'ing as you hit their cit. otherwise, yes I'd just stick to the original plan of a disc = loss regardless. Only problem with a replay is
Also, if this does well, and we continue after the 4 week test period, placement during the first 4 week tourneys count towards placement in other events later... meaning if you start playing these after the 4 week tourney series is over, you have 0 points, and if you won you would be classified as having the most points. As any bracket system works, lowest points plays highest points first - in order to eliminate weaker teams faster. So it's in your best interest to play in the first 4, get
That sounds fine as long as others agree to it. Also, what do you guys think about this as far as discs go. If you take a screen shot at disc screen and your team disc, instead of losing if levels, war score, k/d ratio flag captures and proximity to cit / destroyed towers are highly in your favor, as long as you have screen shot you could possibly win, I gues I'd determine who would in fact win. This applies to games that go to the 20-25 minute mark at least. This way if you disc as you are h
What time of day would be good for an EU team?
I understand. Perhaps, lets assume I just run a US league, or a US tourney. if it goes well, and a competent foreign player wants to run a australian or european branch, and they get my permission, absolutey.... baby steps. Basically, I want anything cept for pug smashes... speaking of which I just got back from the bar, time to host some pug smashs. Just a tip though: if you're going to promote something like this, try and be as neutral in your tone as possible. Bringing up the pug-premade hostility is probably not a good thing to do if you're trying to attract premade teams to your event. Additionally calling possible entrants douche bags is probably not going to help the cause. -- Tukulis[/qu

me and my buddy diceareevil created a chat room. prosauce. it was intended for our buddy lists and their buddys to join in order to arrange 3v3 pre games.... after a few days it turned into "hey lets go pwn some noobs" or a place for people to idle. But direct your friends to this thread and checkout the channel. I was able to get a few good pre's out of it against top 10 players
I can't believe so many people posted without reading this: "It would work something like this (these are hypotheticals as in if not enough people are interested, I won't do it):" That's the third line after hello. Hypotheticals means that what's written in the post is conditional. The Title of the thread is "interested in a 3v3 pre league" and the only responses are peoples opinions about why they don't like the idea..... which means they
