I've been watching the Atlantis series of Stargate now, since I wasn't able to when it aired due to my stepdad, but I think it is actually way better in a lot of areas than both SGU and even SG1. It's less goofy than SG1, yet still funny. Less dire than SGU, yet still serious. There isn't so much of "the paramids were built by aliens" of the Chariots Of The Gods fame which SG1 was overtly full of. There aren't any sex scenes in Atlantis, though those aren't necessary anyway. </p
