I was favorably impressed with Star Trek: Discovery tonight. It wasn't great, but it's a good start, and given the chance I'll watch more. A couple of negatives: Guest starring Michele Yeoh? What, you people don't have the budget or sense to hire her as a regular? The GODAWFUL volume of commercials. It's like they were trying to recoup the entire investment in the fi
Does anyone know why coercion was removed in the last patch? Not that I dont agree, it was a good thing. Im just curious on the reason behind it.
I have no firsthand knowledge, but I think it's safe to assume it was because people hate it. Personally, I'm not opposed to the concept, but I think it comes in too hard and fast. Maybe max level of 10%, with a fair range before it has any effect a

I my case, the other game can't use it because it wasn't available at its start. Presumably when I start a new game it will be available - locally. The question is, how do I make it available to someone else? The only two Workshop options seem to be as template (no functional items) or an OBJ. If you want to say, "no we don't do that because the functional items are too much of a barrier to compatibility," then that's a fair answer. But given the jungle t

In an case, I don't see a consensus. So far here there are a couple that won't watch (you can't count them), a few who say it sucks (how many of those actually watched a whole ep?), and the majority who say it's not bad. Not great but not bad. Anyone remember how lame Star
I will occasionally see what appears to be a hex-shaped tool tip over a hex displaying the distance in hexes and in turns from (presumably) the selected ship. But I have been unable to figure out how to produce this very useful display when I want it. How to?
Figured it out. Press and mouse over the hex. If you press without moving the mouse it doesn't work. Also help

Displaying the surface of a globe as a rectangular map is admittedly grossly distorting. IMO something less distorting like Winkel tripel projection is probably not worth it. But most distortion occurs near the poles, making wrapping there impossible. Yet whatever the projection, the side (longitudinal)

BTW, there are warnings on the Notepad++ 64-bit edition , that it isn't ready for prime time. But I've been using it for some time, along with the supposedly unstable Dictionary, and have had zero problems. Other than a few basic ones, very few plug-ins are available for it yet, but if you don't need them, I'd go for it.
