Yeah, as mentioned it's turn based which is nice in my opinion. Not a lot of good turn based grand strategy games out there these days. It also focuses more on realism and historical accuracy for the most part. Should be good for anyone who likes the Victorian time period and for anyone who loves history. A Jules Verne Steampunkish mod would be awesome as well. </
Cool. [e digicons][/e] The game is by AGEOD and I've heard their release day products are usually pretty good. They are now owned by Paradox but I think they are pretty well independent. <p

Perhaps I'll pick up Shogun II when it drops to

And yeah, i´m excited too. Good turnbased strategy games are rare. Thats what brought me here to stardock last august. Stardock and paradox and the connected/related/associated? smaller indi developer teams seems to be the last ones, who knows what makes older

I mean there is really much to calculate. And overall... I think after release the game needs serveral patches. But i have the feeling the devs will stay with the game for a couple of time and again... 20 bucks.
Certainly the game will not be perfect upon release but I am not too concerned. The game should

I've been playing around with the demo for the last few days, and have been having fun with it for the most part. It has a steep learning curve (especially with regard to economics and the trade system) and the game could use some improved optimization (I&#3
It was removed a few months ago because: 1. We needed the screen space for creature abilities. I hated to have actual information that was valuable to new players missing or truncated so we could fit flavor text in. 2. Some of the flavor text was to long to fit so we would have had to go back and give it more screen space or truncate the text. 3. Some of the flavor text wasn't very g

Just thought I'd give a shout out for a game that's coming out soon (June 7th) called Pride of Nations by AGEOD. AGEOD or Paradox France is a company that has released many excellent war games. Also Philippe Thibaut who is a co-developer of the game is the original creator of Europa Universalis. It's a turn based grand strategy game that looks to provide real historical insight into why history unfolded the way it did. This game is going to be deep a
