I have the following, fairly serious, problem too: when I delete an icon on the general desktop, a seemingly random icon in a fence can get seleted; that makes it easy to accidentally delete that icon too. Stardock : please help!

In my case, it is the (Windows 8) 'This PC' icon. At least mostly. I think, actually, that sometimes a top level folder on my second drive (I've two harddiscs and an SSD) falls out. (That folder is 'Y:\Software', if that helps.)

Dear all / Stardock The (very) old problem persists, albeit only occasionally: I have a fence down on the left side of my screen, and several fences across the middle of the screen, and sometimes operations on items in the middle fences, or, I think, on the general desktop, cause icons in the left fence to keep their position but drop behind their fence, or to jump to a difference fence. Evidently this is a breakage in basic functionality and, thus, fairly serio
I have a more recent build; and this problem still exists. It is driving me rather crazy. I've reported it to support - more than once - but, so far, no joy. One should not have to find an icon size (and perhaps icon spacing) that Fences likes.
